  • First one all, math is a branch of science, that is, math equations comes through scientific observation, so to say that science can not expland mathematical equations is like saying Science can't explain science, it doesn't make sense, second there is no such thing as philosphical trues, like other minds are real? Or that the physical world exist, in fact, there are philospher that will argue against both of those claims, third there is no sound agrument for objective morality or ethics

  • @amouwon Objective morality MUST exist by necessity. All claims that all morality is subjective create contradiction, and something which contradicts itself canot be truth!

  • @NephilimFree Are you serious or just trolling...

  • @MarsStarcruiser

    Trolling on my own video?

    HAHAHAHAHAH!

    Stop sleep walking buddy.

  • So typical for atheism to use ridicule and insults to justify their position. Its like arguing with a small child.. and neither empiricism nor science is omnipotent.. sounds as though atheist are scared to rely on reasoning outside what they can physically touch, I mean its ignorance to believe that science could ever answer the question of "why" in life. Science in and of itself speculates to answer the "how" not the "why"...

  • What if science found a way to prove the existence of and communicate with God, who confirmed these rational ideas we accept? Wouldn't that be a way that science can prove anything? After all, God is omnipotent, so what would you say if he were to say science was God's intention for humans to discover everything about the world and to find God himself?

This is an extreme example, but not entirely impossible. Instead, I'm simply suggesting there is a middle ground between science and religion.

  • If a good God prohibits torture he does so because torture is intrinsically wrong, not merely because he declares torture to be wrong by fiat; but if torture is intrinsically wrong, then it is wrong regardless of whether or not God exists. Either certain acts are wrong regardless of anyone's opinions or commands (including God's), or else all that we mean by "torture is wrong" is "God prohibits torture." Rather than grounding the objectivity of ethics, DCT completely undermines it.

  • @themediocrenontheist You came close. What you missed is that if there is moral absolutes then tere is moral law, which requires one who defined it, a law giver.

  • Science is omnipotent. ???

  • I love how Craig stays cool during debates. He gets insulted and he just brushes it off with a smile and some sound reasoning. Friendly academics are not common, it's great to have this one on our side.

  • Love it!

  • Stomped.

  • oh this little channel has "pending approval" comments... typical of Creationist XD

  • @ComputerScience54 Yea it's a bummer I know. You'll just have to find a podium somewhere else to preach the idea that rock poop came alive and that's why you're here.

  • awesome

  • Craig also beat up lawrence (mr 2+2=5) krauss and Sam harris, krauss went crying to dawkins and pz myers like a baby and sam harris couldn't even keep to the debate topic because craig handled his arguments with ease.

When it comes to science and philosophy atheists fail and they fail big time!

  • Where is his response? Why is it cut out? I would be very interested in what he has to say since these are good arguments.

  • Plus; the fact that there are so many hypotheses in science which are unproven (are some of which, such as those in theoretical physics) and shall NEVER be proven points pretty heavily toward science NOT being omnipotent! This is very very cocky of him to say.

  • Atkins looked like he lost his voice.

  • Doesn't light slow down when going through debris? And doesn't it also bend with gravity? If these two things are true, then couldn't SOMETHING slow it down?

  • BTW thx for the vid Neph

  • Lets all just admit the truth already; We all MUST use presuppositions when it come to origins.

  • Dr. Craig is a very intelligent man...I enjoy listening to him.

  • One major way the speed of light isn't constant is it is still influenced by gravity and time, and time is relative.

  • The Big Bang theory relies on "dark matter" which is an ambiguous fudge factor for "we don't have a clue."

The Carmelian Cosmological General Relativity theory better fits our universe.

"The LORD wraps himself in light as with a garment; he stretches out the heavens like a tent" (Psalm 104:2)

  • wow that was awesome. it's true what he was saying all those things can't be proven

  • @Cacterpus Nope. The speed of light has been measured many times and verified to be slowing rapidly. But then you have been provided this evidence already, and still reject it. How sad it must be to live a life of denial and compulsion to argue against knowledge and truth. Such a life I cannot imagine enjoying.

  • @NephilimFree Verified by who? Nobody in mainstream science.

  • @lormendi Yes, by exactly those.

  • @NephilimFree I have a link to an article about the speed of light which dissolves the big bang theory. Basically it boils down to our not knowing much about light, this causes problems for the bible but causes massively greater problems for the big bang. I'll PM it to you even though you probably know it all already. Have a good Easter in Christ bro.

  • @davemakesawave

If you don't mind.... I would like that link too. God bless you my friend. Thanks.

  • 1:00 "science is omnipotent" chuckle...on what planet? that's a belief in itself .. 2:24 is a priceless "I got total pwnage" deer in headlights blank stare .. good upload

2:48 "put that in your pipe and smoke it"

  • @sownzgr8 Yup. All classic pownage moments!

  • @Cacterpus So what about the other four?

  • GG Peter Atkins, thx for playing.

  • Get em Craig.

  • His face during that was literally priceless

  • William Lane Craig is a great Christian apologist. I would suggest watching his debate with Frank Zindler and also watch debate between Christopher Hitchens and his brother.

  • owned

  • I should "Flag As Inappropriate" because that was a severe ass kicking. lol

Now that was a religious experience!

  • LOL SMACKDOWN! lol

  • Boy, I have never seen anybody shut up so fast in all my life. lol

I bet the chemist inhaled some chemicals after that beat down on television.

Should change his name to Dumbo Peter Asskicked. :-)

I am going to watch the video again right now!

  • "dr." Peter Atkins just got PWNED!!!!!!!!! LOL

  • Like

  • Got to love the look in the atheists face. I had the same argument a year ago. I wonder if his head exploded? He never responded. LOL

  • @hellavadeal He does make an attempt at a lame comeback, but the "science is omnipotent" remark really did him in.

  • @NephilimFree Hey brother, do you have any video's addressing "Dendrochronology, tree ring sequence dating" kinda funny how the science fields paleo-eco-archaeology is supposedly using it to help calibrate their radiocarbon dating equipment from known time stamped events, but from how I understand it they can only go back 13000 yrs for sure and the rest must fall into their mil/billon yrs scenario. Peace2Ya Bro. in Christ Jesus, Jimmy

  • God FTW! Atheism has been owned xD

  • @RudySpino God for the cage-match smackdown ;)

  • @GospelHouseKat That wouldn't be worth watching, the fight would be over before it started xP

  • You gotta love the look on Atkin's face ... Buckley is about to start laughing out loud ...!
