That's the thing, it is PERFECT and overpowered. You could use the BR in all situations. The DMR was basically a replacement. It doesn't matter if the DMR wasn't in Halo 1, the spartan laser wasn't in halo 1 either.
If you hate Halo Anniversary, I cannot change your opinion. But there is a reason why the multiplayer is a halo reach map pack. They didn't want to exclude the halo reach community.
Also, Halo reach IS halo but it is just different. Do you want Halo to be like COD and be exactly the same every game?
And if you still hate Halo Anniversary then at least appreciate the effort they put into it.

They definetly did not mess up the campaign, I enjoyed that, but the multiplayer... it's COMABAT EVOLVED Annaversary, not Reach Annaversary. The Reach multiplayer is great, but they should have stuck to the Comabat Evolved engine, if they wanted to make a true remake.
for halo 4 they need to re do the multilayer they need to put back in smgs, BR and duel weapon holding, the DMR pisses me of it slows down the game so much its boring
You played halo 1 when you were 7 then? What do you know about halo and balance? Halo reach was the game I wanted halo 2 to be. Bloom wasn't bad, you probably just suck at aiming. The armor abilities are a long time coming. I was wondering why 500 years in the future you don't have even night vision built into a trillion dollar suit. just a flashlight, and it lasts maybe 4 minutes. Reach was an improvment, not a great one, but a small one to a stale game that regurgitates itself just for money.

Halo Reach was shit, they changed Halo completely, it wasn't even Halo anymore, I loved Halo 1, Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3 I even enjoyed Halo Wars & Halo ODST but Reach was a let down.

Anniversary wasnt suppose to be this big major release. So I can see why they wanted to use the Reach multiplayer. Besides they want to focus more on Halo 4.

Have you even played the multiplayer in halo CE Anniversary? you say you say a trailer but there is a big differences about a trailer and playing the game. also did you know that in halo anniversary there are modes with no bloom and no armor ability's. i like your video you have some really good i agree halo reach did suck but please play anniversary before you say you are disappoint :)

I did not know what it was about reach, but custom games were never as crazy and funny and multiplayer just did not have the halo 2 and 3 feel.
I also thought although outdated the halo 3 graphics tried to be realistic which was really good but the reach graphics sucked because they were really cartooney.

Sorry Bajan, but I r disappointed by this video. You didnt research all the info. They said it was a remastered campaign, they never said it had a new multiplayer and they are keeping it the same way, no BRs or DMRs, no dual weilding etc. Armor abilities= power ups/equiptment. Special playlists without armor abilities for you and no bloom. Younger audience, bullshit. I was a fan since 2 and Ive loved every Halo and I know the history even being slightly younger than you.
Okay, looks like someone is a little blind to a few things. Halo guns lost accuracy with continues fire since CE, the bloom just shows you that fact now. Plus, Halo is a FPS game based on strategy.
I watch COD games, and all I see is guys sprint across a livefire zone so they can point blank the other team with an assault rifle. Hence mostly kids playing it, it's easier. I'd also be annoyed if I where to do the usual in halo and find myself gunned down before I make a quarter of the distance.
@Darkwatch20 As for the armor abilities. Weren't they already in 3? They just became a permanent attachment. Also, the loadouts are meant for a strategy boost. It's actually encouraged to learn them, so you can switch on the fly. A sprinter keeps getting in your face? Armorlock him. Someone in your base? Invisibility will knockout his radar.
Lastly, Bungie didn't even want to continue the franchise past the second game. Why do you think they lost the license to it in the first place?
i am a halo fan and i bought reach and anniversary beacause game should evolve. its normal that your hate halo reach but i think its a good innovation the armor ability because you can play with a your own style (to sneak, to be a tank etc...) i bought the game anniversary just for the campain beacaus halo combat evolved is the bes halo game. seriously its pretty hard to do a remake of a game cause you have to draw again all the concept art and adapt for a lot of fan.
@DarkCellStudios I kinda agree. Asylum is great for anything but SWAT, Hemmorage is sweet, just a tad too big, Paradiso is WAY too big, Pinnacle is only good for FFA, and Uncaged sucks. Unfortunately, that's all people seem vote for, too. Sword Base is good, but WAYYY overplayed. The DLC was really nice, but there are so few people in those playlists. Honestly, I think the Anniversary playlists are REALLY gonna make the multiplayer great.
I think halo reach was a good game the campaign was cool and the new armer plus forge world and who dose no like to jetpack halo sea will be a lot better with the new campaign.
In halo CEA, there will be playlists that you can choose to play in classic mode, no armor abilities, or you can go reach style. i'm not so sure if they'll bring the BR back or stick with DMR. i'm also not sure how they plan on doing health and shields, probably differ depending on playlist. I'm sure theye know they pissed ppl off with that stuff, so i'm sure the classic playlist will be what you are hoping for from the game. Personally i will be playing the reach based playlists more often
the DMR is better, IMO. I always thought the BR was wasteful since it shot 3 bullets, when I usually didn't want to use so many. I also prefer the way reach set up the health and shields so they are independent. Yes, armor abilities do make things a bit unfair at times, but there are classic game modes and there is slayer pro where everyone has the same ability. honestly i think armor abilities are one of the greatest improvements to halo. I always wanted jet pack, was happy when reach supplied

You all are whiny babies. First off, there is a thing called "Classic Slayer" in Reach that removes all AA. Second, they brought back the Halo CE pistol for multiplayer, which was really the only weapon anyone used in multiplayer besides the rocket launcher or sniper rifle (which still deal the same damage as they did 10 years ago). Having the Reach multiplayer for CEA means that we essentially get Halo 1 multiplayer, but with the sword and all the awesome new vehicles/weapons too
I'm 14 and only have reach and 3 of the halo series (played reach first) I personaly liked the reach campaign (havent finished 3's) What I do agree with is reach multiplayer is kinda shit....Havent tried 3's will have to soon.
@recon12100 It has forge, it doesn't have bleed through shields to health, the jump height is not the same, the falling damage isn't the same either, different weapons, differrent amounts of ammo, firefight, theater, very glitchy. And alot more I can't think of right now!

Halo 1 is my favorite, and I'm still into Halo Reach. Most of the people who hate it are people who simply can't accep progression. I will say though, the maps that Reach shipped with were the worst so far, but this anniversary pack will be amazing, and definitely expand Reach's lifespan.
343i are releasing a Classic playlist with the No bloom, No Armour Abilities, Classic Halo maps and the Halo 1 Magnum. I'm with you, I hate Halo Reach as much as you but this Classic Playlist could save the game.

I have played every every Halo game since the first, and I personally don't agree with Mitch. Halo reach didn't suck and wasn't hated by ALL the fans who played the others, Me and my friends love getting together and playing all the different game modes, and leveling the characters, or just playing Forge all day. What Mitch said at the end is true, that is just his opinion. I do not agree at all, Halo Reach is my favortie Xbox game of all time. But once again, we all have our opinions.

Just do what Sony has been doing with these re-makes; Give the game HD graphics, and give it trophies/achievements. Leave everything else the same. Think of it as just a "patch" for the original.

i agree with combat evolved having a great campaign, but i believe that reach has the best, especially since it's a storybook campaign, like how i believe it should be. Also, it shows you more about spartans and ais than any other halo game, as well as the covenant. i do hate the fact that it didnt have any flood, though, but i, an experienced player, like halo reach, and this anniversary multiplayer does suck.

Ive played every halo game campaigb through and through, and Reach was easily the best for forge and multiplayer, though the campaign blew anal dick. However, the servers were great, and they may have added COD components but reticle bloom was a good tool, showing when your shots will be most accurate allowing better gameplay, and loadouts are more realistuc because any army has diffetent classes of units, and these were best through firefight, and made sebse in multiplayer. You have to understand that they didn't really mess up multiplayer. They didn't intend to remake it in the first place. The so called "gift for the fans" only referred to the campaign.
On another note, 343 is working on a title update for Reach which will be released during the end of September, which will make Reach less shitty. Stuff like no bloom, and a three headshot kill pistol, classic playlist with those updates.
I love Reach, and I love Halo, so I will enjoy the classic maps.

Halo Anniversary is going to be released with a Halo Reach multiplayer disk similar to Halo 3:ODST, but it is also being released with a remake of Halo CE campaign which is basically the same game but with imroved graphics. I dont understand why everyone is complainging about the new Map pack considered a title update is coming out which is fxing armor lock, and they are removing the Dmr bloom. i agree with you, i literally loved halo3 and had no life the first 2.5yrs it came out. i played 6hrs daily(even on school nights). My love for halo diminished a little with Reach. Also in the next halo game (halo4) there was shown as a jetpack type object. I do believe it was just something to control yourself in "no gravity zone". I also hate the armour abilities.
Halo 3 had a horrible campaign, Halo 1's campaign set the bar because it was originally for PC and was designed for PC style game play which worked beautifully for console, but Halo 2 and Halo 3 were designed from the console game play guide book which took away all the free roam and large scale size of the missions and the military objective feel of Halo 1, replacing them with small dinky levels and a dumbed-down objective story mode that was too easy to complete.
dude u have it all wrong the halo multiplayer is a separet disc that takes you to the halo reach multiplayer where there is a special playlist just for that and later on they will release the halo 1 maps for every one else and mabye mix the maps into the normal playlists

many people wont read this but i will write it anyways 1st of all let me point out i have been playing halo 1 for 3 years now and i still continue and love the game i have played all the other games as well. as for reach people excepted it to b the greatest of all time which i didnt live up to its name BUT there was no BR in halo 1 and i beilive that sprinitng was always needed (not the other armor ablilites) plus i was happy with the sniper being more like halo 1 and that the pistol came back
The halo remake is not just a map pack for halo reach the maps have been formated for halo reach and halo aniversary. so no need to be mad about it because its just like halo 1 but the maps are formated to play on reach as well

@ibez07 IMO Reach is the best, armor abilities arent hard to get round at all considering the only useful one is sprint anyway, and the reticule bloom is a good thing you actually have to time you shots rather than just spamming the hell out of the pistrol and DMR.... Halo 3 was good but it has alot of bs to it, like how they screwed over the pistol, dual wieldind was always stupid, and only the BR was really usefull, but hey its just an opinion :)

@ibez07 hmm, i think we feel the way we do because of our backgrounds with Halo, i didnt have an 360 until Reach came out and when i played the others i was like 7 so i sucked anyway. Since i worked from Reach backwards i didnt have that loyalty to Halo so the differences in play style dont mean as much to me i guess, i just dont think Reach deserves ALL the shit it gets from old school fans but i can certainly see why many would be dissappointed if they have that loyalty to the series

Halo Reach was shit, they changed Halo completely, it wasn't even Halo anymore, I loved Halo 1, Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3 I even enjoyed Halo Wars & Halo ODST but Reach was a let down.

Reach wasn't necessarily a failure, It was breakout game for the series actually, because it changed the way Halo was played. I agree with the load outs though, fuck that bullshit...nonetheless im still a Halo fan so i'll probably get the game just because.

I did not know what it was about reach, but custom games were never as crazy and funny and multiplayer just did not have the halo 2 and 3 feel.
I also thought although outdated the halo 3 graphics tried to be realistic which was really good but the reach graphics sucked because they were really cartooney.
Im not hating reach, its a great game, it just was not as fun for me, but im not forcing anyone to agree with me

Sorry Bajan, but I r disappointed by this video. You didnt research all the info. They said it was a remastered campaign, they never said it had a new multiplayer and they are keeping it the same way, no BRs or DMRs, no dual weilding etc. Armor abilities= power ups/equiptment. Special playlists without armor abilities for you and no bloom. Younger audience, bullshit. I was a fan since 2 and Ive loved every Halo and I know the history even being slightly younger than you.

Okay, looks like someone is a little blind to a few things. Halo guns lost accuracy with continues fire since CE, the bloom just shows you that fact now. Plus, Halo is a FPS game based on strategy.
I watch COD games, and all I see is guys sprint across a livefire zone so they can point blank the other team with an assault rifle. Hence mostly kids playing it, it's easier. I'd also be annoyed if I where to do the usual in halo and find myself gunned down before I make a quarter of the distance.

@Darkwatch20 As for the armor abilities. Weren't they already in 3? They just became a permanent attachment. Also, the loadouts are meant for a strategy boost. It's actually encouraged to learn them, so you can switch on the fly. A sprinter keeps getting in your face? Armorlock him. Someone in your base? Invisibility will knockout his radar.
Lastly, Bungie didn't even want to continue the franchise past the second game. Why do you think they lost the license to it in the first place?

i am a halo fan and i bought reach and anniversary beacause game should evolve. its normal that your hate halo reach but i think its a good innovation the armor ability because you can play with a your own style (to sneak, to be a tank etc...) i bought the game anniversary just for the campain beacaus halo combat evolved is the bes halo game. seriously its pretty hard to do a remake of a game cause you have to draw again all the concept art and adapt for a lot of fan.

@DarkCellStudios I kinda agree. Asylum is great for anything but SWAT, Hemmorage is sweet, just a tad too big, Paradiso is WAY too big, Pinnacle is only good for FFA, and Uncaged sucks. Unfortunately, that's all people seem vote for, too. Sword Base is good, but WAYYY overplayed. The DLC was really nice, but there are so few people in those playlists. Honestly, I think the Anniversary playlists are REALLY gonna make the multiplayer great.

In halo CEA, there will be playlists that you can choose to play in classic mode, no armor abilities, or you can go reach style. i'm not so sure if they'll bring the BR back or stick with DMR. i'm also not sure how they plan on doing health and shields, probably differ depending on playlist. I'm sure theye know they pissed ppl off with that stuff, so i'm sure the classic playlist will be what you are hoping for from the game. Personally i will be playing the reach based playlists more often

the DMR is better, IMO. I always thought the BR was wasteful since it shot 3 bullets, when I usually didn't want to use so many. I also prefer the way reach set up the health and shields so they are independent. Yes, armor abilities do make things a bit unfair at times, but there are classic game modes and there is slayer pro where everyone has the same ability. honestly i think armor abilities are one of the greatest improvements to halo. I always wanted jet pack, was happy when reach supplied

You all are whiny babies. First off, there is a thing called "Classic Slayer" in Reach that removes all AA. Second, they brought back the Halo CE pistol for multiplayer, which was really the only weapon anyone used in multiplayer besides the rocket launcher or sniper rifle (which still deal the same damage as they did 10 years ago). Having the Reach multiplayer for CEA means that we essentially get Halo 1 multiplayer, but with the sword and all the awesome new vehicles/weapons too

@recon12100 It has forge, it doesn't have bleed through shields to health, the jump height is not the same, the falling damage isn't the same either, different weapons, differrent amounts of ammo, firefight, theater, very glitchy. And alot more I can't think of right now!

Halo 1 is my favorite, and I'm still into Halo Reach. Most of the people who hate it are people who simply can't accep progression. I will say though, the maps that Reach shipped with were the worst so far, but this anniversary pack will be amazing, and definitely expand Reach's lifespan.

I have played every every Halo game since the first, and I personally don't agree with Mitch. Halo reach didn't suck and wasn't hated by ALL the fans who played the others, Me and my friends love getting together and playing all the different game modes, and leveling the characters, or just playing Forge all day. What Mitch said at the end is true, that is just his opinion. I do not agree at all, Halo Reach is my favortie Xbox game of all time. But once again, we all have our opinions.

i agree with combat evolved having a great campaign, but i believe that reach has the best, especially since it's a storybook campaign, like how i believe it should be. Also, it shows you more about spartans and ais than any other halo game, as well as the covenant. i do hate the fact that it didnt have any flood, though, but i, an experienced player, like halo reach, and this anniversary multiplayer does suck.

Ive played every halo game campaigb through and through, and Reach was easily the best for forge and multiplayer, though the campaign blew anal dick. However, the servers were great, and they may have added COD components but reticle bloom was a good tool, showing when your shots will be most accurate allowing better gameplay, and loadouts are more realistuc because any army has diffetent classes of units, and these were best through firefight, and made sebse in multiplayer. You have to understand that they didn't really mess up multiplayer. They didn't intend to remake it in the first place. The so called "gift for the fans" only referred to the campaign.
On another note, 343 is working on a title update for Reach which will be released during the end of September, which will make Reach less shitty. Stuff like no bloom, and a three headshot kill pistol, classic playlist with those updates.
I love Reach, and I love Halo, so I will enjoy the classic maps.

Halo Anniversary is going to be released with a Halo Reach multiplayer disk similar to Halo 3:ODST, but it is also being released with a remake of Halo CE campaign which is basically the same game but with imroved graphics. I dont understand why everyone is complainging about the new Map pack considered a title update is coming out which is fxing armor lock, and they are removing the Dmr bloom. i agree with you, i literally loved halo3 and had no life the first 2.5yrs it came out. i played 6hrs daily(even on school nights). My love for halo diminished a little with Reach. Also in the next halo game (halo4) there was shown as a jetpack type object. I do believe it was just something to control yourself in "no gravity zone". I also hate the armour abilities.

Halo 3 had a horrible campaign, Halo 1's campaign set the bar because it was originally for PC and was designed for PC style game play which worked beautifully for console, but Halo 2 and Halo 3 were designed from the console game play guide book which took away all the free roam and large scale size of the missions and the military objective feel of Halo 1, replacing them with small dinky levels and a dumbed-down objective story mode that was too easy to complete.

Ok my opinion but dude, 343 is NEW they need time to get used to it. and halo reach is int the past before halo 1 2 and 3 (story wise) so dmr... yea....and reticle bloom.....thats because its in the past just don dis reach theres nothin wrong with it

I dont want to play Halo Remake, wanna know why? It aint PURE Halo :L BUT I will buy Halo Remake since I want to play the old campaign. BUT you must admit the graphics in Halo Reach is good. I love the shut gun (Since it turned red :D) DMR I dont really mind.

i understand that reach is totally different than the previous halos, but its still a fun game. forge world is unbelievabe. graphics are much better. it was a good game, just different

@ibez07 IMO Reach is the best, armor abilities arent hard to get round at all considering the only useful one is sprint anyway, and the reticule bloom is a good thing you actually have to time you shots rather than just spamming the hell out of the pistrol and DMR.... Halo 3 was good but it has alot of bs to it, like how they screwed over the pistol, dual wieldind was always stupid, and only the BR was really usefull, but hey its just an opinion :)

@ibez07 i dont want it like CoD (i dont even play it) but sprint was good in reach IMO it could be shortened a little i guess but it didnt bother me, i think the other armor abilities were just unecessary and for the most part useless, i think you just didnt get the hang of the bloom feature cuz after like 10 minutes i found the balance between speed and accuracy but i guess thats just me... i think if they got rid of armor abilities as a preset and just made them pick ups it would beok

@HalfricanNanners well we agree on the cod,,i understand and get the bloom but u dont seem to understand that even if u time ur shots PERFECTLY and hit the head EVERYTIME u can still LOSE to a trigger spammer,,im sorry but an element of luck in all dmr fights is not what im after,if i was 4 shotted in halo 3 then i have no probs non cos he out brd me,in reach i can be PERFECT and lose soooo not for me ta,,,apparently theres an update soon tho so fingers crossed

@ibez07 hmm, i think we feel the way we do because of our backgrounds with Halo, i didnt have an 360 until Reach came out and when i played the others i was like 7 so i sucked anyway. Since i worked from Reach backwards i didnt have that loyalty to Halo so the differences in play style dont mean as much to me i guess, i just dont think Reach deserves ALL the shit it gets from old school fans but i can certainly see why many would be dissappointed if they have that loyalty to the series

@HalfricanNanners ahhhhhh now it makes sense,,,i mean this in the best possible sense mate but now i realise u dont know any better :) ,im 30 an old school gamer and halo 1 is still vivid in my mind for its perfection,,,halo is every1 same weapon,,same abilities and the most skilled won,,,halo 3 and reach destroyed the skill gap to cater for the occassional casual gamer,,,and i checked out,,,,reach is the pits for me cos i started with halos all in order,,u speak well and present ur case well
