@antjuh28121979 you know there's a broad variety of pop artists and pop music, it's not only about these girls you said, discobelongs on pop category as well for example, and overall there are pop songs with quality just like sinead.

this doesn't mean thought that sinead is not an 100% pop song.

I have ot admit I didn't like seeing wt on this style at all but what can I do :)

@StellarBlast Dude, they do not turn pop..Yes some of the songs in the new album are influenced by POP, but I think 'In The Middle Of The Night' and 'Iron' are their heaviest songs so far, and these songs are influenced by 80's Metal..

@2610DMJ Yeah, well, I hope you're right! I mean, I've seen it with Nightwish before, and I know where this road goes. I just love WT as they are with their sense of new generation music, so new and powerful and energetic. Well, okay, reach back for great musicians and styles from the past, all right, but I hope this new album is just a sideline of their work, making it full, and not the new mainstream of Within Temptation.

@2610DMJ Enter is gothic, 14 years old. Jane Doe is symphonic metal and is just 7 years old, same as Aquarius. And are far heavier than this. Not heavy as in heavy metal, but heavy in what the heavy in heavy metal means, alternative, intense, massive, rageful. Something this album as little compared to any of the previous. Not that I dont like it, I love it and am gonna see the concert in Lisbon on the 12th of October.

@StellarBlast It may be that this particular song, Sinead, can be categorized as "pop", but it´s pop like it was back when pop music actually were worth listening to, IMO.
