  • I always thought that when u tow a school bus,u tow it from the front, clearly u can't tow one this way...

  • i drove semi truck for a year and my clutch went 3 weeks after getting the truck another truck grabbed the trailer and the wrecker showed up and lifted the front and put brake lockout in the 4 chambers and dropped my shaft and his light on the back and away we went but it was big wrecker unlike this one that was overloaded

  • whats wrong with me!?!? IT'S THOSE HUGE ASS MAN TITTIES!!

  • Ok, the guy is inside steering, why not put it in neutral? For how short a distance that was to be towed it would've been fine in neutral

  • SoCal or Florida, only does a tow like this ever happen. Shows you what budget cuts do.

  • This tow simply hurts my brain... Drop the driveshaft boys... in the time you dicked around UNSAFELY lifting this bus you could have had the shaft dropped and been forked under the front and safely hauled this away... god damn are you stupid... L.A. Towing... All Wrong.

  • So stupid, tow the bus with the doors open, what assholes

  • school of excellence. bull CRAP!!!!!!!

    call the number

  • school of excellence. bull CRAP!!!!!!!

  • just imagine that fat guy under the bus.....he will work just fine an a spare tire

  • wow guess these guys never heard of axle forks lol oh and dropping driveshafts

  • Wish I was the DOT guy that stumbled on this tow. Lots of tickets there. Buses have to be towed from the front if it's not damaged. (too lazy to drop the drive shaft). Undoubtedly overweight (this is why you tow from the front so 4 rear tires are making contact with the road). No safety chains (don't care if it was a repo, if a repo is dangerous call the Police to stand by). No safety lights on rear of towed vehicle (probably didn't have a long enough cable). Good example of how NOT to do this.

  • lol i was wondering how the hell that small tow truck can tow that big school bus but it was a small school bus,no way that tow truck can tow a 64ft school bus that the biggest one they have that one was tiny

  • @PSNGamerGirl That's not 64FT, it's more like maybe 30 ft.

  • @appleguy133 i know it wasnt a 64ft,that bus is too small to be a 64ft SB and i doubt that tow truck can actually tow a 64ft SB its just too big

  • leaven helper in tow to steer NOT A BRITE IDEA what do you want from bobby

  • Skip @ 2:50, there it actually begins.

  • i think he put the camera on some random car tums up if u would be pissed if the camera was sat on ur car.

  • hell yes we towed a school bus . no kids on board !!!!!! what is wrong with u people?

Its whats wrong with you guys. Improperly towing stuff and posting it on here to show how you dont know how and what can be towed with the truck you have safely.

  • I've been towed a few times (Semi Truck)... the tow truck driver had me on the wheel-lift, driveshaft removed (about 5 min.), air hooked up and pulling me away in about 15 min. time!

  • I didn't see any brake lights hooked up...so...if someone rearends you is it still their fault?....

  • what do you mean YOU people? haha

  • They tow it from the back because that is the only place a tow truck can lock on to. if you notice there are hooks on the underside. look around. however, the service door should have been shut./..

  • this is how the niggas steal school buses to ghost ride them!

    why not ghost steal them^^

  • where i can buy that truck i then can get a ferrari

    ore a boeing

  • you are the most ignorant s.o.b. i have ever seen do you even have a clue what to do? just a little tip when man said pull the drive shaft and wheel lift the bus he was right but your ignornant ass put it on a sling form the back and left the wheel lift down not to mentiobn you left your partner in the bus to steer it while you drove. how about you use common sense and that brain GOD give you before you do some stupid crap like this again and kill somebody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @RHFDjrFF I doubt they could have towed it rears down. If that bus had air brakes (most do) and the parking brake was set you wouldn't get far with it unless you could pressure up the brakes. Also, you wouldn't need to pull the drive shaft, on heavy truck axles you can just remove the axle shafts.

  • @RHFDjrFF did you not watch the whole video you can hear them put it down to remove the driveshaft he wasnt left on the bus to steer it

  • I love the fact that you had reply to me on my comment only reassures me that you really don't belong behind a wrecked and for your information I am a professional car hauler I happen to know the law witch you know nothing about that's ok hopefully the next video we see of you is your wrecker being scraped up off the road on you tube its just a matter of time before you kill someone hope you have good insurance .

  • You should try a different profeshion because you don't know how to tow safety witch you know nothing about you should not be aloud to have a towing business

  • @MrMellow769 Funny how everyone is a professional on YouTube.

  • i guess the sharron school of excellence needs to pay their bills

  • @84godd Or not illeagly park their bus accross three or four spaces..

  • is that the air breaks that sound like a turkey call?>

  • lol cop car... so true

  • im going away

  • wow they fuckers

  • its a retard wagon!! aka the short bus :)

  • so the school got their bus impounded?

  • @clearererick no it probably broke down...

  • I WANTS TO GET A BONUS

  • hope yall aint gonna panic stop, that bus is goin thru ur back window if yall do, tow bars up to high, rear on the bus is saggin, no blocks of wood, n u ride the clutch. nice wrecker tho

  • First of all, I cant tell weather you just ran chains to your boom over a sling bar, or if you used a sling, but either way is just universally stupid.

As well, the back of the bus when you picked it up high enough to get the tires off the ground was way taller than 13'6" so it was illegal as hell and dangerous because all it would take is one low bridge to ruin everyones day and could potentially get some one killed.

The right way to tow that thing is from the front with an under reach.

  • @BeastusMaximus ty friend exactly what i was sayin all very unsafe and one day will kill someone or themselfs by acting like they know what there doin

  • good job guys. you guys at L A towing are actually professionals unlike that bunch of Chicago jack asses at Ohare towing. Maby they could bring back wrecked with you guys. would be so much better.

  • @pumpkinheadedsob obviously you dont know a thing about towing if you did you wouldnt be cheering these fucktards on because they are doing everything wrong just sayin should have been towed from front and drop the drive shaft the dumbasses dont even have safety chains wheel lift is still on the ground when they pull away and then why are they pumping the breaks down on wrecker ummm great video way to show off your ignorance

  • @billm292010 I operate a tow truck for a living, and I do repos as well. When you are grabbing a repo or an impound you grab it and get the hell out of dodge, you worry about safty chains and the like once you are several blocks down the street, or in their case wait for a bigger truck to come get the bus, they left the stinger down to make sure the tow truck wouldnt flip when they hit a bump, likewise he was probably pumping the brakes to test the stability of the load.

  • @billm292010 if you want to talk about showing off ignorance, you need to take a long hard look in the mirror.

  • @pumpkinheadedsob your not very intelligent are ya ignorance and stupidity is an unsafe act in this field and that my dumbass little friend can get you or people around you killed been in the biz for 11 yrs im still here so nope dont think im ignorant so maybe you need the long hard look in the mirror bud and yes i dont need you instruction on how repo's work im pretty good at those to there are no short cuts when towing a very large vehical such as this bus and if you do one day it will get ya

  • @billm292010 well bud you have your way and I have my way, and safty is my concern when im doing a repo, my personal safty. So one day when your doing a repo in a very bad neiborhood and an angry debtor sneaks up on you and cracks your head open while your putting safty chains on youll probably wish you pulled it down the block befrore you put the safty chains on.

  • im no expert but wouldnt towing from the front be better?

  • So this is a video about how NOT to tow something that is obviously way too heavy for the light duty truck? Why do guys post stuff on youtube that makes them look silly and like they have no common sense??

  • be tmuch for that size of truckit be to hevy for it as i can here it creaking at it's limit

  • bet the frontend on that med duty was feelin lite on the drive to the yard!

  • ehh ok so a bus got towed

  • hell, in the time it took you amateur fame seekers to "snatch" it from behind.... me and my crew would have had that shaft dropped ten times over and been out.. lol i coulda dropped it faster then it took you to set up your camera... amateur hour... not impressing any REAL towmen out there, BOYS.

  • LMFAO only in florida......

  • "Sharon School of Excellence" ? Not Excellent enough to pay there bills...

  • its like a smart car towing a mini van.

  • damn tha repo man got a bus lol jk jk

  • some ones field trip waz ruined as a child

  • your a big man talking shit on you tube i bet you wouldnt say that shit if that man was standing right in front of you.

  • I would've thought u needed a heavy to to a schoolbus

  • @babydoll52 You do need at least a medium duty tow truck for a school bus, but this is a smaller than normal bus. And even for this bus they could hardly tow it with that light duty.

  • obviously "Sharon School of Excellence" has to many dumb ass kids to pay the bills!

  • sharon school of excellence cant even pay for their buses

  • This guy does not want kids arrive on time to school, then they will become a tow truck drivers.

  • short chain that bitch lol

  • was it a repo??

  • @AJ41069 Repossession. When a driver doesn't make payments on the car.

  • Is this the mentality of tow truck drivers? Who gives a shit you enjoy being an arsehole!

  • @MultiGazman people need to learn to pay bills damnit, got a problem?

  • @miketheredneckable I havent got a problem with anyone earning a quid,Just the arseholes who enjoy thinking there fucking heroes towing a school bus and big noting themselves while there at it,BTW anyone who takes on a job i.e traffic cameras, parking inspectors are nothing but low life scum who just couldnt do any better in life without having to try. So mike if your in one of those jobs ...drop dead and fuck off your wasting the oxogen we breathe!

  • @MultiGazman watch what you say to me son. you want to stzrt shit, i will kick your ass if i get the chance, and thats not a threat, its a promise.

  • @miketheredneckable Listen boy,You aint talkin to a kid..If you think your good enough then your more than welcome to try.

  • @MultiGazman i know im not talkin' to some kid, and why dont we just fix a place to meet then, see who can hold their money where their mouth is longer ok?

  • There was no need to run the Air out of the brakes. Maybe you should learn more about air brakes!

  • haha, school of excellence my ass. They can't even pay for the bus.

  • WOW that was the slowest repo ever ! just kidding good job im a medium duty driver and i could never imagine doing that . thats really good

  • Personally I would have used the crane & chain lifted the bus, as i found that using the under reach takes too much wieght off front axle (you loose steering in the wet), plus i find it quicker.

  • yeah i do have something against big fat ass people . whats it to you . and driving a tow truck is my lifes ambition but i wasn,t fat enuf so i couldn,t get in LOSER

  • @mario102395 I think they want everyone just as miserable as there fat asses. kinda funny how fat boy can't even get down and help he just throws the chains down for his buddy.

  • why are all tow truck drivers fat asses?

  • @mario102395 probebly bacuse they want to anoy you and that you dont drive a tow truck? Do you have anything against Big people?

  • @Henkegreen There is a fat ass girl in middle school in which i go to. her ass is bigger than the bus wheel lookin like 345 ibs.

  • @mario102395 Not all are fat, but It could be that we earn a hell of a lot more then you and can afford to dine out more then trailer strash :)

  • @Bchsjo1993 By dine out do you mean taking your 300lb old lady through the mcdonalds drive through??? hate hate hate... just screwing with you but seriously why do you assume you make more cash than dude?

  • big cars you've got there in U.S.....for big people though :))

  • Why was it an impound? what happened?

  • what was that pumping/air sound?????

  • why would there be problems with a newer version thomas built bus?

  • this fat fuck doesnt even know how to hold a camera correctly....

  • The big guy is a heart attack waiting to happen...

  • @spankydoolittle get a life regular people die of heart attacks everyday u dumb ass! not just "fat" people

  • Whats with the brake pumping?

  • by the time u got it all hookd up you coulda pull the dang drive shaft ,an plus it was 2 of yall that bad

  • this tow was exacuted the same way i would have towed it , and its Tow truck driver's that improvise that get the job done , there is no perfect way to tow , but there is a safe way , no two tow's are the same

  • is that even LEGAL?!?!?!?!?

  • LOL woot Miramar Police...so you guys did this close to me.

  • dio can che pansòn! magna meno budlòn!!

  • I dont think the police were to happy with what you guys were doing because why did they go round the block. . . Twice!?

  • I guess it doesn't matter wheather the towing company damages the vehical in the process.

  • Comment removed

  • flexdapex dont look like your dumass to smart either learn how to spell before you talk about someone else dum ass!!!

  • @TLew01 hey dont talk there idiot its dumb not dum, retard

  • Figures, those peole aren't very smart, don't care about doing things the right way, and besides doing it right would have been too much work. Bout the only things they do with any regularity is cash the checks, make babies they don't support, and lower property values everywhere they go.

  • why not pull the driveshaft and wheel lift from the front?

  • you have airbreaks and weight issues but all can be fixed with the right equipment

  • @rubber314chicken it was repo lol no time or they will be shot!

  • @rubber314chicken That's exactly what you're supposed to do !!!

  • I doubt they have a wheel lift that big. Usually it's a large bar that you attach to the frame.

  • @rubber314chicken why make a job harder when you can just sling it from the back and tie the wheel down....

  • @rubber314chicken because its back wheel drive

  • @karlgustav23 thats why you pull the drive shaft...

  • @rubber314chicken you ever try to lift a big truck drive shaft??and where you gonna put it?

  • @rubber314chicken the back would hang to close to the ground and im not sure buti think the bus was in a corner (corner of the curb being at the front left)

  • And yet you watched the video .)

  • oKay so the Bus company called and said they had a bus down, BFD!

  • It you don't have the time to do it correctly then you should not do it at all. Towers like this are a parasite to our industry.

  • not good with a camera are you?

  • my dad towed a bus like this w a f550 7.3 on the wheel lift...not on the street...jus lil ways...it was impressive

  • that bus isn't much bigger than a full sized van. perfectly acceptable to tow it with such a small truck

  • too bad sharon school of excellence doesn't teach u how to park

  • I have rear towed a school bus with a sling on a heavy wrecker and did no damage to the bus.

I also used a sling to tow a honda accord without damageing it.

if you know how to use the sling and proper blocikng with wood it's easy

  • i do it all the time, i love the truck bar, lol

  • ISNT that the la repo thing

  • well reason why we did nt tow it with a bigger underreach was it was a impound ! we needed to snatch it a.s.a.p.

  • @thebigman3151

dont believe those j hook chains r rated for that..y not fork the frame alot faster 3 mins tops in and out

  • Towing from the rear is perfectly acceptable, our company does it all the time, but we would have sent a bigger truck with more under reach so we could have snagged the wheels. I do wonder what exactly it was that they hooked to under there.

  • Unethical hacks. If they had the right equipment for the job they would have hooked up to the front frame with an under-lift and pulled the drive shaft.

What these guys did would get you fired at the company I work for right now. If it it's a tow away zone, you always hook up so you don't damage the vehicle.

    Hacks.

  • Not the best way but a workable way. A medium duty truck like that can tow from the rear with minimal if any damage since the bus is all metal and frame back there. New tow drivers get so accustomed to the new "damage-free" that they forget the old skool drivers didn't have the new stuff and still couldn't be f'in up shit so they had to "work" at towing stuff and it's not like before damage-free every towed vehicle was getting messed up.

  • If you look at comments below posted by thebigman3151 you'd see that this is a no-parking tow away. They claim not to have time to do it the right way. They using old school trucks because it's quick and dirty, not because they honestly care about the customer's vehicle.

You see this in cities all the time, this why good drivers get so much grief because of hacks like this company.

Can it be done, yes. Is there a better way, without a doubt.

  • thats just wrong! even 31 years ago if you had the right tools and took the time it was damage free.

  • 31 years ago bumpers weren't plastic and flimsy sheet metal nor was damage-free a guarantee of sorts. The new age drivers don't even how to tow with a sling/bar, without their wheel lift or under lift they're lost.

  • I would not of lifted that bus like that here in the UK incase it twisted the chassis or popped the windows out. I would of used a under lift from the front or put the whole thing on a articulated slide bed. But i gues in America you just grab and go where as here we would take our time so not to damage the vehicle or endanger the lives of the public.

  • Lets see, 50 kids left on the sidewalk outside the school, some walking home, a risk of being picked up by a pervert, This makes sense.. Lets tow the school bus and endanger kids lives. will the next school bus be from a disabled school?

  • well obviously the school district is made up of embezzelers cause they couldnt afford the truck. so stfu i bet u school wasnt even in sesson. y always go to the bad thing.

  • Bus driver should have thought about that before parking in a no parking zone i guess aye?

Nobody to blame here accept for the ignorant bus driver.

What happends when you speed....you get a ticket..is that the cops fault as well?!???

  • they probably had another bus come and pick them up moron.

  • didnt have enough time to pull shaft, its a towaway , got to get it quick

  • y dont they just hook up from the front with the under reach

  • Well, I guess school bus drivers can't park anywhere they want, but someone is going to have a livid boss.

  • nice wrecker with crew cab, why not use the underlift in this job?, the rear tow it´s a good idea for not damege the transmisions, but i tie the steers in those cases, i have a any zack z30 and i tow any school buses with no problems

  • you bunch of morons! wow you moved a bus, woop de f*cking do, hope you twisted the chassis on the truck and next time you do it, i hope the front end skips so you cant brake or turn and you wipe your self out, or better still, you kill some innocent bastard and get done for man slaughter. you give the industry a bad name.

  • safe towing capacity formula- 1/2 faw times wb divided by overhang. obviously overloaded. my question is why the he** did they not pull the shaft and cage the brakes? morons like this give the rest of us a bad name

  • manboobs

  • gunman50cal i know shit like this gets towed all the time

  • ok so you towed a bus

  • I did that with a bigger bus and a shorter wheelbase truck about 10 years ago. Kinda hairy and illegal as hell.

  • thats y i was late for school

  • i wanna see a double deck bus get tow// that will be fun..

  • is this what you call we we be towing

  • nice

  • ah damn school didn't pay bills, bitch.

    repoman comin to town.

  • thanks i will put a video out soon as i get the video from our drivers camera.

  • hey im 19 and just started driving a tow truck so im just learning.any advise on how i canpull out a car thats parrelled paarked on a narrow street with no one to help me push it out. a video would be great

  • go jacks are about your only option on those tight one way streets

  • u like towing

  • depends how much you like the owner of the car take a chain to the tire closest to the curb and pull the car out side ways lol

  • fanning of the brakes released the ait in the air bags so they would not pop, then when the truck was off the property the truck was prepped for thew road. all safety items were used before going in to the roadways'

  • @thebigman3151 After A year I found the reply. Really? That does that? HMMMMM Chain the rearend up before you lift it? Flip the dump valve? I have towed many a busses. If your really worried about it the time you used to run the air down you could have chained it.

  • if i was a kid i would have helped

  • if i still one i would 2

  • lol me to!

  • There is nothing wrong with hooking to the rear. I still don't understand the fanning of the brake though. I normaly frame fork the rear and tie the steering wheel. I understand it's a repo so they are getting it hooked and outa there.

  • HA HA Stranded children

  • My 1075 would done it.

  • lol

  • i would have pulled the shaft and lifted from the front.

since it is a short bus you could lift the front of that bus 5 feet! before the back would grind.

  • ya i agree that would be alot easy

  • thanks for stopping by
