@leppsyl Well, I think it's a great movie. Everybody interprets it differently. 'cause Avatar made a big impact on me and let me realize what we are doing to this planet. Also the reason why the story 'wasn't' that good, was because the new shooting technique, FX etc costs a lot o' money.

no it has to be hans zimmer! If you have some spare time, look 'the gladiator' and 'the island' straight after each other or just the endings (last 30 minutes of each film) and you will see it is almost the same. I noticed it when i was watching the gladiator on tv and i recognised the soundtrack from the island. (which i have on dvd)
