I haven't tried it, but I have friends who have, and they love it. It's all theatrics (and well crafter characterizations) leading up to the fight, but the fights themselves are real, and the outcomes are not known. The Toronto PFL has regular events (and is branching out with fights in other North American cities). A lot of fun and worth checking out!
I have been to 4 or 5 PFL events, and have had a blast at all of them!
