Those Robot wars fans don't know what there talking about when they say that the UK bots own the American ones. I'm Dutch and I love battlebots & robot wars, but those new age spinners would smash razer, chaos or anyone else
I think the greatest disservice when Battlebots was canceled was to Brian Nave. I think he was about to go on a run of winning several of the "giant nuts." I could easily see Phrizbee tearing up BioHazard and Overkill, and Phrizbee Ultimate gutting Diesector, New Cruelty and Vladiator.
If the new Battlebots thing actually happens it will be interesting to see how many of the old favorites actually return.
All robots that competed in Battlebots were forced to change their name when competing in outside events due to copyright issues (the show Battlebots owned the name of the bots for 5 years)
@NitroRat I first knew Shrederator aka Phrizbee long before he competed in Battlebots. Before then, he was better known as The Revolutionist from Robot Wars. The two bots I remember him losing to were Panzer MKII and Razer.
@NitroRat That can't be right. The Judge was still the judge, and Biohazard's lone fight was still Biohazard. Not to mention Hexadecimator, the other bot in this fight. Perhaps Phrizbe's builders just thought Shrederator sounded better.
shrederator is such a great design, it's designed to give 100 little hits not one BIG hit

seriously need good traction and thick metal to beat a spinner

What I wouldn't give to take on the americans with any current british robot, not saying we'd win, just interesting to see how'd we hold up
That Shrederator is really vicious

@razerdave bio hazzard would take any non spinning robot you have and then we got son of whyachi to take care of the rest

Indeed, although we did win on nut for most aggressive robot awarded to Phrizbee Ultimate.
the new battlebots thing did happen, and Brian Nave, instead of competing in it, only helped out with it.

always loved spinners ever since mauler in BB1
wonder if brain nave is gonna go to espn's battlebots?

How come a simple flipper could stand a chance against a very low full body spinner?
Btw the simple flipper has good armor: just look how long it takes to Shrederator to damage the drive.

The top of Shrederator is clear and the lights can be seen through it. That lets him know which way it is pointed.

The driver of Shrederator must be really awesome, because there's no obvious way to tell which way it's facing during a fight.

Tonight's re-cap, Shrederator versus HexaDecimated...
AnimeAdmirer22 4 years ago 6
This is the second, the first time was at BattleBots. Ask my dad, he is Brian Nave. Dont believe me? I can get him to email you if you message me.

Tim Patterson(the driver of Hexadecimator)told me that Hexy D was 1-4 to Shrederator with 4 straight losses.
BTW Nitrorat, you got the name of the video wrong, this is the FIRST time they fought, not the second.

Shrederator = Phrizbe (220 lb heavyweight)
Shrederator Supreme = Phrizbe Ultimate (340 lb SuperHeavyweight)

what about biohazard, or WoD?
Jerry11606 4 years ago
WoD was changed to Smashbox, but Biohazard's name is the same for some reason.
