  • Beautiful music goes straight to your heart, no matter what age. It can just take time for you to acknowledge it.

  • Brahms' waltz in A-Flat Major, Op. 39 No 15, originally for piano four-hands.

    Délicieuse!

  • Thank you Merrihew for sharing this glorious Tino Rossi recording. It is exquisite! I love it!

  • Beautiful song. Thank you.

  • As is evidenced from viewer interest, Rossi still has a worldwide following. Even more amazing is the Carlos Gardel phenomenon since he died in 1935. Rossi didn't die until 1983 so many of his original fans are still alive.

  • rossis voice was much more beautiful than the austereness of gardels

  • The difference is that, whereas Gardel finds new fans every day among people who could be his great-grandchildren (like, say, Bessie Smith), Tino Rossi is entirely a period phenomenon.

  • And yet, 2 Rossi postings are among my top 10 most watched (out of over 500). Of course, I don't know how old the vioewers are, except for those who post comments.

  • Tino Rossi was also loved by Many Koreans, and one of his song is still used for a signal song for a radio program called 'Starry Night', since the show's first premiere in 1972.

  • bravo
