  • what do you mean by shorting the clk how do you do that

  • I used a wii-clip v4c that doesn't need solder the J wire.

  • i have the same thing but my j is connected to the clk and it dosent work what should i do remove it from the clk

  • did you have to solder the j

  • No I didn't. It worked shorting the clk jumper :)

  • Nice, I just recently bought the D2Pro9 & the matching Wii-key also. Just got the chip in the mail today, still waiting for the Wii-key. What size solder-tip did you use?

  • You can use a 0,5mm tip por a leg install or any size tip for a wii-clip install :)

  • I tried two: first (that u can see on this video) worked shorting the clk jumper. When I tried another wii-clip, ... it didn't work (dead drive). On monday, I will solder the j wire to try again, or to test another clip with this Wii (it isn't a d2c2)

  • Jumping it will work just the same as if you did it direct with wire. We actually were the ones responsible for getting them to design it this way so we would order it :)

Anyways get your Multimeter out and check points GH and points FE on the wiiclip, you might find they are shorted. If they are then that is the reason it doesnt work. Our first batch we had some that were like that, its why we test every clip by hand that gets sent to us.

  • Did you solder the j wire or did it work by shorting the clk jumper

  • shorting the clk jumper works ;)
