@caessarion NOT TRUE. I was in AFGHANISTAN. Blacks are typically in support roles such as telecom, supply, personnel, etc. Most are not going to be in the Airborne, Ranger Infantry etc. Most are looking for a paycheck and security....or the G.I. Bill. What you say was probably more true in Vietnam, when Blacks were drafted.

@caessarion I fully agree, but take a look history. Not all Whites, but many glady invaded foreign lands and killed native peoples and exploited/stole their resources. During the civil rights movement, many Blacks (AND WHITES) were beaten and killed trying to gain equality. Check out Vietnam.....The French, Americans...and the Japanese went their and tried to colonize and dominate these people. And let's not even talk about Iraq, Afghanistan, and our upcoming war with Iran.

My approach would be to let it all fall as it is rotten to the core and was only meant for a few people, never the people. There is a cost you're giving away something you own for something else and you may have to give much more than you recieve depending on how much value the other party places in what you are trading for and vice versa. It's a pain. It's not as easy as "you can have this sack of corn and I'll take your box of sugar" On a large scale a currency is better that is why we developed that in the first place. Every civilization gravitates toward a currency.

@143DREWID I'll give an example let's say I pick my last 24 ears of corn for the weekend and realize that I need to trade for a new shovel I figure 12 max will be enough setting those aside for the trade and the remaining will be fine. I go to bill to trade and he says that he can't trade it for less than 15 ears as he won't be able to dig up anything from his garden and is tied up for a few days.Now that means I only have 9 remaining and will have to stretch them to last the 2 days.
