  • This administration is trying to silence us, we can't let that happen! Support free speach, Support Move ON! Make a donation to Move ON! Don't let them silence OUR voices! Help bring freedom back to America and End this WAR! Move On is a powerful voice in the media, but they need support from the people!

  • Would any of you vote for a Republican after the way they have supported Bush? They just blocked a bill that would give our troops, as much rest time at home, as combat time they have had to serve! No rest for OUR troops? Just get out there and die for Bush's oil deals! Our children are nothing more to Bush than fodder for his war machine; he will be filling his pockets with blood money long after our children are rotting in their graves!

  • And Bush is gonna burn in hell. :)

  • If there is a hell? After six years of hearing Bush say he is talking to God, while dealing out death and destruction; I am thinking "Hell" is right here in America! (grin)

  • Rudy Giuliani is a fascist. If you check out his smear video on Hillary Clinton on youtube, you will see he censors all negative text comments posted about him. What an Ass!

  • Another staged attack and Bush gets to use Directive 51! Hang on to your hats!

  • Lord no.

  • I would take the water board to get Rudy to answer that question.

  • Great question, I hope it's put to him.

  • Great question! I think we all know what the Bush family intends to do. I would take this question one step further, and ask each and every congress person the same thing. Lets find out what Democrates will support the Republicans should an attack happen between now and the end of the Dictator's term.

  • minstral,

You got to the core of the matter. it's not just one candidate who is a problem. I'll put that one to my representatives. We should email, write and phone our representatives, federal, state and local to get them on record how they plan to stop a power grab. There is no reason for martial law. Look at NOLA, the gummint didn't care for life or even property, so don't buy it.

  • Thats exactly it. The question is simple and to the point. Lets find out how many elected members are truly for the people. The second thing I would do is ask them to use paper ballots at election time with a voters list printed out and made available eight weeks ahead of time just so that no one can rig the election oucome like the last 2 elections.

  • Guiliani's answer on this one is obvious. Isn't this exactly the same tactic Guiliani tried to do after 911 to keep himself in office? Murdoch also floated the idea of not holding the 2004 elections because all those folks at the polls might make good targets. It didn't get any traction then, anymore than Guiliani's attempt to suspend the ballot in NYC. I've always thought the test case was the foot-and-mouse disease postponing elections in the UK. It worked there. Eventually it'll work here.

  • I got some bad news for ya Davis...I dont think this 1s gonna make CNN bud...They dont have the balls to ask it...I could eat my words here and if I do lol Kudos bro :-) But i still think their 2 pussy whipped to put it on...peace...btw great ? bud lol that ought to rattle a few cages :-)

  • I guess we'll just have to wait for Bush to manufacture a terrorist attack before the next election to get the answer. Its the first thing I thought when I listened to Keith Olbermann's comment of July 3rd.

  • davisfleetwood: Asked.

Giuliani Responded: Could you please tell me the meaning of the word " Constitution " I have never heard of it But i will answer your question anyway... "9/11, 9/11, 9/11 and ummmm oh yea 9/11"

    "" "" "" "" Applause "" "" "" ""

  • It's a very, very dull question. It's an insipid and bland question that will, of course, be ignored by CNN.

INCORRECT: Do you see a sitting President extending THEIR term beyond blah blah blah.

CORRECT: Do you see a sitting President extending HIS OR HER term beyond blah blah blah.

  • Oh, trust a Canadian to ride in on their horse -- oops I mean his or her horse -- and correct us in the Queen's English. But sorry, we speaks 'merican 'round these parts, and we loves to mangle our possessive pronounce in compromises between brevity and neutrality. Eh?

  • It has nothing to do with brevity and neutrality. It doesn't have anything to do with political correctness. It's number agreement. A President, be it a man or a woman, is a single entity. "Their" is a plural entity. It's just bad English. This guy fancies himself a player of some kind, though God knows what kind that is, and poor English will not get him anywhere. I know plenty of 'mericans who speak perfectly good English. This one doesn't. zinger. It's a boring question.

  • I'll bet you're one of those who uses the plural form for media, too. ... "The media are ignoring RP." lol

  • GREAT question!

  • I remember Giuliani telling us right after 9/11 to expect it to happen again soon and often; and we should be like the British and maintain a stiff upper lip.

Davis, we all know, scratch that, the ones who are aware know, the answer to that question is not what you and I want to hear.

    (Hands over ears) LALALALALALALALALALA . . .

  • Davis! Out of the cellar AND a shave! Love your stuff.

I say go WITH the beard.

  • Good question.

  • Ghouliani's response: What constitution? What chaos?

  • good one, but he won't give a straight answer.

  • great question. I would love to see the response

  • The question is NONSENSE. No one is even considering such a move. IT is INSANE.

  • playin' hardball.

  • Great question, Davis-a real eye opener.

  • Very good question and I'm sure Rudy will find some to dance around it without giving a straight answer.

  • Ha Ha! I love your directness, Davis!

  • Rudy Giuliani answer: Davis, you have to let it (the Constitution) breath

  • Important question

  • Davis, great question. At first I thought you were going to harp on him for proclaiming, "times like this, I'm glad Bush is in office" right after 9/11. How anyone could vote for him after that comment is beyond me.

  • if we get hit by another terrorist attack then we know the Patriot Act is a failure, the Department of Homeland Security is a failure, the War on Terror is a failure and George Bush and Dick Cheney are fucking failures.

  • Good question. I like it.

  • lol - he did try to over-throw term limits in NYC after 9/11, but was shamed out pursuing it.

  • now THAT's the spirit!

we need to shame them all way more than has happened so far.

why ask RG what he thinks about the constitution?

  • Oh...and good call on not filming down in the basement. The Republicans would find that unsavory, too remniscent of sex scandals and other secretive acts. Surprisingly, they will distance themselves from those situations from time to time. We just never know when.

  • He'd only SAY "yes" if the following scenario existed: It's 9-11-08 and the US is the victim of a terroist attack of "unknown" (oh, they'd know) origin and W feels that polling places are not safe as the CIA has word that they are the likely target of more attacks (esp. in Florida and Ohio) and elections are canceled. Then G. might truly disapprove because he feels kept out of the white house or he says he does to distance himself from W, who by them has a 0.73% approval rating.

  • If this debate is as screened as the last one the network will get to pick the questions. CNN did during the Dem. debate. Which is why Gravel got that loaded question on Vietnam. I applaud Davis for this great question but Wether or not Guiliani would appoint himself ruler in the event of a crisis may not get asked of him since Bush has already scheming t do that.

  • great Video

  • This is your way of flipping him off on TV, isn't it Davis? I applaud your moxy.

  • i can see how that would be a 'toughy'.

  • GOOD QUESTION!

  • Great question!

  • Bravo!

  • eeeexcellent question!

  • Good question, but since Rudy is unlikely to answer it, let me try. Doesn't Directive 51 give the President exactly that right? And he can do that if there is an earthquake or hurricane or any other disaster as well, sine the directive gives him the right to declare what IS a national emergency. He becomes the absolute leader of all three branches of governrment. Do you really think GWB is going to let the next election happen before he finds an "emergency"?

  • (5) The following NEFs are the foundation for all continuity programs and capabilities and represent the overarching responsibilities of the FG to lead and sustain the US during a crisis, and therefore sustaining the following NEFs shall be the primary focus of the Federal Government leadership during an emrgy that affects the perf of Govt:

    (a) Ensuring the continued functioning of govt under the Constitution, including the functioning of the three separate branches.

  • Rudy Giuliani answer: Davis, you have to let it (the Constitution) breath.

  • nice!

  • You and I both know THAT wont be picked LOL Hell, the name Davis Fleetwood is most likely banned from all repub debates LOL

  • Maybe my memory serves me wrong, but wasn't it the people who wanted him to stay in office a little longer and this is why he asked to extend his term?

  • I don't believe that to be the case. He was the one that had asked to extend his term for an additional 3 months but it was ultimately shot down by the State and Senate. His approval rating was in the toilet for the bulk of his term in office with the exception of post 9/11 when it rose to nearly 80%. Excellent question Davis.

  • GREAT question!!!
