Amazing band...amazing song...good sound quality!!

I'm confused though...why has Thomas simplified the drum intro so much?

Those amazing fills really helped this song to be as amazing as it is, and same with the rest of the Somewhere Along the Highway album. The drumming on that album was the best of any CoL.

Along with Back to Chapel Town, some of the most crushingly emotional music ever created.

I've been an obsessive ISIS fan for the better part of 8 years, and only was introduced to CoL in the past 6 months. Fell in love almost instantly. This band adds so much more perfection and depth to this genre. Their music takes me to other worlds.. absolutely love them and I'm so glad they EXIST!

I like the fact that Johannes' screams really stand out here, and you can hear that he's really screaming, no exhale/inhale techniques or that kind of shit.

?? they BARELY relate. I love Godspeed and Cult of Luna, but I would never recommend one from the other in this case. I just dont think that recommending a band based on dynamics makes much sense.. Nonetheless they are both excellent bands.

all i meant was that in my humble opinion when the dynamics lower at 1.44 it sounds quite like the sad guitars of godspeed. generally you are right, they are two quite distinctive bands and kudos to you for having the good taste to like them both!

Looks like the guitarist singing rather than the lead vocalist which would explain why the vocals are a bit off. Last time I saw them on tour vocalist was ill so wasnt there
