A group break is when people buy spots in a break equal to the amount of teams in the sport. IE 32 teams in football, 32 spots can play.

Once you get a spot you will given a random team. Then you will get all the cards from that team from paticular group break.

They have to put those "No-Name" guys in the product for a couple reasons.

First is they could actually turn out to be great players and then everyone wants them. Second, you can't load products with the top picks.

Sure everyone wants to pull top picks, but if they load the products with all top picks then it devalues their cards.

If everyone pulled a McFadden autograph out of a box, it wouldn't have any collectibility and render itself as a common.

Chris, I see a trend, even in the higher priced products,...unless you get a McFadden or a john stewart...its junk! Whats your opinion about these companies and their products? You open a case and maybee you get a good card...what has the trade come to? I love to open boxes and packs, and I have gotten lucky myself, but whats the deal...you're almost better off buying the 2or 3 great cards straight out than trying to open boxes or packs. They stuff the boxes with so much crap how can u win?

There are quite a few great cards to find. Such as McFadden, Ryan, Felix Jones, Mendenhall, Stewart and etc. A lot of players in a set could be great cards after the season kicks off as well. You never know who will turn out to be the next "Ryan Grant".

They do put a lot of standard cards though to fill the void.

As far as buying singles goes... it doesnt ahve the same excitement as opening a box and pulling cards. But I know what you mean.
