"The Deal" episode was obviously one of the most successful and well written witty episodes in Seinfled history. predominantly the dialog that Jerry and Elain had sitting on the couch- the facial expressions, their glances on each other, and the embarrassment in the air.
it was a fun episode to watch, well performed and well handled. (and George was great too).
I don't understand the First Avenue & 78th street reference that Jerry made at the end. So they wrote in the apartment building, but what was on the other side of the street behind the camera?
I think he was saying he only performed for the crowd on the side of the road that he points to that u can see, and on the other side of that we cant see is a TV studio of some sort that made them famous lol. Perhaps NBC?
That explains why Curb Your Enthusiasm has ten episodes per season and it takes a year or two to make a season. Give Larry David credit for writing both Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm. Now, after watching this, I look forward to seeing Season 7 of Curb Your Enthusiasm: the Seinfeld Reunion. But, hey, Jerry should get more cameos for Curb if Larry is ever in NY. These two are unbelievable together!!
The idea of Larry David having regular sex just devalues the whole concept. Funny and brilliant guy, but him actually NEGOTIATING sex with someone...Larry, look in the mirror, you're disgusting! If there's a woman who can tolerate your presence for more than 10 consecutive seconds you should hold on to her like grim death- which is not far off, mind you!
That's because funny people who enjoy life... tend to not want to climb the corporate ladder and suck cock to get there like most executives do. That's why they should stay completely the hell out of telling other people what is funny or what they enjoy.
That asshole NBC blond man, he never was right about the theme of the show. He was never right about elaine and jerry should 'be' together. He should be fired.

well, I'm right as they never followed the idiot's plan to get Jerry and Elain together. That makes you a really big ARSEHOLE, you ugly sister fucker.
How did you know the show would turn out the same way without asshole NBC blonde man and the creators' subsequent reactions to what he suggested? You never know.
This was great. The whole story, right there. Larry is great. It looks like, though, he didn't get much back, not much attention, except for the money... But I think he doesn't care actually.
Truly an awesome find for me. Thanks.

@Tol1as These stories that were the basis for many Seinfeld episodes were from his real life from before he was rich and famous.

greatest show to ever be played on television. I watch the repeats and I can't believe this show was actually played on network tv. A+

Every time Larry thinks about how many episodes he has to write, he's fucking hilarious. He's just such an incomplete character, lol.
