Killing, abusing, slaughtering, torturing has been a way of this government for 3 decades. It is hard to find a single teenager in Iran who hasn't been beaten, jailed or harassed by Basseej. Reasons can be as simple as wearing short sleeves for guys, or makeup for girls.

At least the Iranian police are not killing anyone else in this video. The peaceful protest of the Iranian people has turned into a bloodbath which will be on ahmadinijihad and khomeni forever. The Iranian people have every right to fight for their human rights. They only want the same kind of freedoms they see the Iraqis starting to get. Freedom is usually only gained by paying a high price. This dictator government will definitely not concede without killing all of the protesters first.

What the Iranian people have to do, is to try to 'capture' policemen or so. Just to hold them and if they are willing to join their side. Or let family members of Policemen or Soldiers, security forces persuade them to join the protesters side, or at least to turn against Ahmad.

How do you ever have the Idea that doing 'just peaceful' things will Ever let the protesters succeed in their attempt? How naive. They will Never succeed with just peaceful means. Blocking the economy and infrastructure will do one bit. But the protesters Have to either persuade some police men or Revolutionary Guard soldiers to join their side or at least against Ahmad. Or there has to be a very bloody very nasty ugly fight. There are no other options for the protesters to succeed.

Iranian protesters have specifically said that the US should not get involved because the last two times with got involved in Iranian politics things got much worse there.
Obama is trying to avoid making any indication that the protests are being proliferated by the United States. If he did otherwise the regime would have more fuel for their propaganda war.
Also, for all we know there's already CIA and Force recon in there giving weapons and supplies to protesters. I suspend my judgment.

So yes, since the government is the self proclaimed savior of the world, they are supposed to go all over the world and save other people's asses!
