The only reason the Mexicans(and the rest of South/Center America, except: Brasil) speak "Spanish" is because Spain, in the 15th century, "found" America(for a European perspective of the world) and teach their language to the natives(and stole their gold, killed a few, and had children with native women too, I know)

Just as did the British in North America. This explains from where your language comes(if you are from USA).

OLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Everyone who is arguing over the time of flamencos creation seems to be a bit ignorant of the fact that it is unknown. We know there were waves of gypsy immagrations around 14th century and possibly earlier (quite likely from india). The music is a mix not of just gypsies but also jews, and arabs, all the ethnicities that were expelled during the reconquest. The development of the music is largely unknown although some of the first writings were appproximatly 2 cenurys ago.
