boas123ful, there is one advantage that WWE '12 has over WWE SmackDown!: Here Comes the Pain and that is the downloadable content. Oh, and let us see what other nice things it has, um, downloadable theme songs, the best arena creation mode in any wrestling game (sorry Fire Pro Wrestling fans but it's true), and customizeable Titantron entrances and pyrotechnics. Still, with that being said, my copy of WWESDHCTP was stolen before I could fully explore the game. Oh well, at least I have SYM.

fastest probably ultimo and most technical in the game will probably have to be angle and benoit.

cena sucks in this game so dont use him too much.

I think WWF No Mercy will always be the Greatest Wrestling Game of All Time (as long as THQ owns the rights to WWE), but HCTP is no slouch, either! Both are amazing and put Smackdown vs RAW / WWE '12 to shame! I'd say...

No Mercy and Wresltemania 2000 copied the gameplay, but in my opinion Wrestlemania 2000 is the best N64 wrestling game, in that it's actually a real SEASON mode not STORY. I wish they would've used the gameplay from Wretlemania 2000, No Mercy, World Tour, and Revenge and the season structure of Attitude, Warzone, ECW Hardcire Revolution, and Anarchy Rulez.

Best WWE game ever, great gameplay... Now, today's WWE game 100% sucks. All they care is about graphic. FUCK THE GRAPHIC! Fuck off this shit!! Games like Here Comes The Pain is 2/3 times better than an average Smackdown vs Raw 2011 just because of their gameplay. More reversal, incredible moveset, more options to create a wrestler, AND good wrestler. And now what we have? Santino, Sheamus, CM Punk? Fucking WHAT, WHAT, WHAT!? Here Comes The Pain easily has the best grappling system of any WWE game, mainly because of the variety of moves it allows you to do. And the roster, is amazing. New games (SM vs. Raw 2009-2011) focus too much on grahics and the gameplay ends up sucking dick. I'd much rather play a game with good graphics and great gameplay (HCTP), than a game with great graohics and horrible gameplay (Pretty much every Smackdown vs Raw, except maybe the 1st one).

i have all smackdown games from smackdown on ps till svr 2010 and my favourite is here comes the pain basicly fast gameplay, good controls, fun matches, season mode is good but i dont like that there was no commentating but still very good. SYM annoyed me with reversing system but it was still fun to play and roster was really good possibly best roster of all smackdown games. JBI is good but graphics look like from ps 1 era bad season mode, and outdated roster, and no PPV venues.

@SnipingIsFun I starting to wonder if you have ever played Shut Your Mouth because the story mode on HCTP is terrible and boring compared to SYM.  SYM season mode gives you the freedom to walk around and make up your own story by talking to other wrestlers. HCTP has a boring season mode because doesn't give you as much freedom as SYM and gives you a particular and repetitive story in season mode.

@CreatingRiot that in 0.47 is just a replay, i dont think you can do this with a button but in shut ur mouth you do it by pressing the finisher, and then any time during the finisher, press L1

@UCSM22 You can't control the finisher replays on HCTP, but on Shut Your Mouth there are 3 different ways to do the finsisher replay. You mentioned one where you press L1 during the finisher, but you can also press L2 for the pause effect during the finisher and L1+L2 simultaneous to get a pause+replay during finishers. Pretty cool camara effects for finishers on SYM.
