I lived in tuckerton all my life, you can even see my house in this video, those are not commercial crab traps off the shore line they are personal crab traps that people put out there for themselves.

I used to go to Barnegatt, NJ for crabbing, around end of August into Sept.
catched around 20s/day. It's fun. Good luck.
