Jones says other candidates are unqualified and their terrified of Ron Paul. Ron Paul needs to come out and say that himself in plain short language.
None of the other candidates, save Gary Johnson, would follow through on the important issues (the FED, warmongering, terror, erosion of freedom at home). Even if the candidates start to try to talk about these things, they will further themselves down the road of flip-flopping and public face; they won't follow through.

Most people are voting for Obama in 2012. Ron Paul still has only 2% of the real votes. Straw polls are biased toward his supporters and don't convey the real national sentiments. 49% of the public is on the dole and will automatically vote for Obama. Another 30% are of the opinion that Obama didn't get a chance to do his job due to interference from Republicans.
If, for some odd reason, RP were to win, Obama has already set in place a plan to have him murdered. Yes, there's a plot to kill RP.

But, you have to understand what party's nomination he is trying to win. If he were to openly support gay marriages he would never get the republican nomination I feel. I think he is using the 'states rights' argument as a way to not have to answer to the strict republicans on the matter, even though he is sympathetic to gays rights I think.

@Konicava believing in a god or gods has nothing to do with what he does, which is politics. A true, smart politician does not believe religion and politics should be intertwined. He is huge about personal freedoms such as religion. So no matter what religion you believe in, it should not effect your role on anything political. Bachmann, however, runs her campaign based on her fundamentalist christian views, which is absolute bullshit.
