Still cant believe that during the actual series run, the amount of times the autobots got shot and barely even damaged, but within the first 10 mins of the movie, 4 very important autobots get whacked beyond repair like it was nothing. I remember being so sad as a kid each time an autobot got killed in the movie. I kept thinking "they've gotta bring em back to life right dad"? lol. Kind of morbid for a kids cartoon when u think about it. I dont think I'll ever get over Primes death : (

I also remember them looking BOXY and parts of their bodies would become flat and Megatron would turn into a 6 ft gun even though he is a 37 ft robot, Soundwave would turn into a itsy bitsy cassette player. My point???? The cartoon had so much flaws yet you shit on the movies because you hate M.Bay. If you want TF to become as "SOFT" as the cartoons it will fail in the movies.

Liking the movie aesthetics is a personal preference, sorry I prefer to see these robots wearing sweet looking armor instead of looking like Terminators with mullet hair cuts, gold teeth, and balls. Also what's wrong with primary colors? + humans characters who aren't buffoons?

They shouldn't have let him be in charge of the story (The guys from TFA would've suited me but let's face it, even I've written better), but in terms of his effects, I think he was a good choice to start with because Michael Bay's movies are renowned for explosions and things of the like... That sort of thing just works with the live action story of alien shapeshifters beating the shit out of each other.
