OK, so it's really called LATE TO WORK. Danny Weiss (guitar), Barry Mitterhoff (mandolin), Larry Cohen (bass) are now called SILK CITY. Dede went back off on her own. And there isn't another banjo player in the world like TONY TRISCHKA. For whoever commented below, Tony Trischka and Skyline was a fabulous band of its time. Tony kicked off Bela Fleck, who went on to The New Grass Revival before starting his own Bela Fleck and the Flecktones.
Imagine this group minus the banjo. Nothing special in my opinion. The banjo is what really carries this group. (from a person partial to the banjo...LOL)
It was always tough going for bluegrass musicians and the 80s were no exception. Good to see some kind of permanent record of what Trischka put together.
Such beautiful harmonies and masterful musicians come along so rarely that it is a gift to the world once they are captured on video and available through YouTube. I never knew these tapes existed and they are so fine. Thank You again.
