Anyone can wear a flag pin. What tells me that he is a sincere American was his taking the show is such a different, special direction on this show. Few people do that.
He is the most real, most genuinely funny man on TV and it's very rare that anyone can be both! Most comedians do funny by being unreal, odd, exaggerated. They do their best - he's just better! Long live Craig, a great American!
As we are all here from one part of the world or another, whether recent or in (relative) antiquity, Ferguson reminds us all what pride we SHOULD feel to be here. Those who came before us all felt it, and we should never forget.
Craig stands apart from other talk show hosts. He is the only one I have heard speak on the anniversaries the way he does. Such a real person, who says what we all are thinking and feeling on that day every year.
Mr. Ferguson you rock. Keep going & never stop telling like it is.

CF is such an admirable person, first with the Britney monologue last year and now this 9/11 show. I agree with the previous comments.

What a wonderful man & wonderful addition to our country. Still loyal to Scotland but obviously loves his adopted country, too.
