@hitmania90 okay no problem. Just let me know when you uploaded the songs. No rush. Yeah, I do admit that song is really hard to find. I wish I knew what genre of music it falls under, but I don't. I think it might be atmospheric ambient. Anyway the song is very nostalgic; peaceful and very pleasant to listen to.
for me i think the saddest moment is when Frank fainted and dreamed 4 of his child, and they'r like splitting all the truth....that's the moment my tears seriously hanging in my eyes. And the moment where Frank saw david's "Wire Painting".this 2 moment is the saddest moment for me and absolutely touching.
This movie really made me think twice about my father.... I was so angry with him for 3 years for a family problem... after watch this movie I thought:: "What the hell am I doing?"... Now, he is my best friend.... but I still feel bad for being so mean with him some time ago.
What I really liked about this scene, is when David told him; "it wasn't your fault dad." Because they all knew he just wanted the best for them, it was all up to them when they grew up. But one thing for sure, they all knew they had a good father, and one who cared. I guess what really hurts about this scene, was that David was his oldest, which means he had the most problems and was hard to get through too. But he really looked up to him, especially when he got that painting in the end.
I don't know how this film got mixed reviews. The movie really makes you think, about maybe if he had done things differently, would the kids have been too? They confided so much in the mom, that his hard pushing really locked him out. He wasn't disappointed in how their lives really turned out, he was more hurt that they couldn't talk to him. Honesty. True, He wanted more for them than what he didn't have. But if you ask me, he didn't do bad for himself or for his family.
I cried at this scene as well..just watched it today. I relate a lot with david's character as well as robert's and this movie reminds me of my family, my overdose hospitalization before..david reminded me of my late brother too....
wow I f..n cried!!!my father was almost the same as roberts character. he was very hard on me and my brother but the thing is; he always wanted the best for us.
instead i started with poker and drugs and almost went down. made my father so sad and dissapointed. that i saw tears in his eyes for the first time. he felt he had failed. he worked his whole life for us and i was about to throw life away...promised myself never to do niether of them and til this day i have never have. Love you pops!
Great performance by DeNiro (Oscar worthy). He's not a mob boss or a tough cop, just an ordinary middle-aged man. This film deserved more attention than it got - I hope it gets so on DVD.
Our loved ones really do visit from heaven sometimes int his way. It does make you emotional afterwards. This scene was nicely depicted. Only those who have never had it happen can argue it's reality.
the saddest scene for me.. like bam.. and my tears starts to fall... is when he(frank) goes to the exhibit and tries to buy the painting of his sone david.. but he found out that that painting already have an owner.. so the sales lady or the one minding the exibit look for the other painting that his son make .. the moment i see whats in that painting ... honestly i said wow... then tears fall ... its so sad, happy, emotion...
nice movie, to me the saddest scene was when Robert De Niro, gets mugged at the train station and his medicine falls on the floor and tells the mugger "please that's my medication, i need it", and the mugger just stomps on it.
This movie really made me cry! Think I'll watch it again..De Niro carries the movie throughout!

@whoiswhobutwho god forbid your kid grows up to be a hooker, stripper, or porn star. A thief, rapist, or murderer I could live with, but a stripper?!
