I LOVED THIS. MY OTP IS GWEN/LANCELOT IN ANY ARTHURIAN ADAPTATION. Although I'm never really fond of guinevere still their relationship is amazing to me. The chemistry between them is great. I was really made a gwen at the end of ep 2. Okay I'm rambling nonsense. Great vid goes amazing well in lancelot, who is my favorite knight). The coloring and pacing fit so well.

In the beginning I wanted Lancelot with Gwen because he was such a better man than Arthur but I learned to fall in love with Arthur and Gwen in S2x02. If Arthur wasn't in the picture, I would love to see Gwen with Lancelot. Santiago is just so hot too.

I am glad he sacrificed himself for all the right reasons until the Merlin producers decided to bring him back as a shadow. Well we got the real Lancelot back for a split second. I doubt he will make any more appearances on the programme NOOOOOOO. Maybe they will bring him back as a ghost!!

@strictlystarlight It definitely wasn't to prove himself as a knight. It was either for Gwen, for Merlin, for Camelot, or for some combination of the three. It's still up for debate.

Im sorry Arwen fans, but Gwen and Lancelot should have been. He longs for her everytime he sees her. Especially since the first time he saw her, it took Arthur his whole life to notice Gwen....not sure how long she was a servant to Morgana for but Gwen should have been more appreciative of the underlying love Lance had

@strictlystarlight At the end of the day, it's who Gwen wants to be with that matters. Lancelot doesn't get Gwen just because he's longed for her all of those years. That's not how love works, not to mention that such an argument strips Gwen of any personal choice and agency.

I was so shocked on Saturday night. I couldn't believe Lancelot gave his life to mend the veil...but once Merlin mentioned it, I had a feeling he would. I cried silently when during Lancelot's funeral. Angel Coulby's performance is so stirring. The respect and compassion, that Arthur gives Guinevere and Lancelot by walking away and letting her have a moment alone to grieve him, touched and broke my heart. Only a true love, would let you mourn another love. Thank you for this beautiful homage

It is truly beautiful. You put the perfect lines together and made it look like their history comprehends much more than a couple of apisodes. We can feel even a stronger love between the two of them, making Arthur look like he's just the brat boyfriend she is going to dump at some point. Funny how you manage to change everything here.
