Seems handy but sadly I need to hoard like crazy and my cat boat so I make my Dragon "wood" sword. heh heh. But I rather use a gunner class with dragin bullets and of course pierce lvl 3's and 2's. Farcaster shall be useful then to get back to one place then reaching to a place I have to be. Glad I'm a hoarder. you know lao shan lung have 4 part of carve each body part

head-to-neck, upper body, lower body, and upper tail part (which i think of possible)

@rigsleepi u can only carve 3 parts head body and tail..use high speed gathering and crouch when gathering then its possible to have a total of 9 carves, 3 each part..break the shoulders with a ranged weapon for g rank laos to get laos divine plate..

Anyone with a question about hammering him look at this.. RathSoul armor and anvil hammer with upped attack from chefs no anti dragon bombs kill him with 5 minutes left quicker with bombs though :) I hope this helps somebody

Pretty good guide for Lao Shan Lung! The first time I saw him I was like..... are you kidding me? Of course, the same went for Shen Gaoren but he turned out to be a pushover. I lost the first time because I decided to try out the weaponry in the base so I just went," screw this" and kept attacking it myself with my longsword, and I killed it.

The belly does MUCH more damage... just because the face flinches him more. And, forgive if I am wrong, but iirc you CAN'T kill Lao before the final area. His health doesn't drop below a certain amount.

i tried the elder lao quest but i just cant make it >.> the first time the fortress was 70% but i didnt do enough damage to repel it or w/e the second time i tried he wasted the fortress when there was 30 secs left >.> and i cant really keep hitting his belly as good as i can hit his head... but w/e i h8 those quests anyways >.>

@LeafRenamon go for a realy big dmg armor set OR get a realy sharp and powerfull weapon if your a Blade user. Now dont go for any element, raw dmg is the key here. Go with a set with atk up lrg, sharpness, sharpnenig skill up..ynthin that makes more dmg or makes your sword sharper, as this way less time for sharpening more time for massacre. and train ofr fighting under the belly- head takes like 2-3 times LESS dmg than belly

@TrueRase yeah i figured that by know ;) im like hr8 now lol,and im close to hr9 :D im using hammers now because at first i thought that a weapon with such high attack power must have have huge downsides like a gs is so slow when you are wielding it so it requires to sheath and unsheath it every time,but a hammer is just as mobile as a ls :D

@PSPHACKERGUY2002 ashen have more health that's all , red dragonsword is you best LS option , rajang is weak to ice but there aren't many good ice weapons , also that quest is not necessary , i mean you can do it later after you unlock high rank nekoht quests , you can get more powerful weapons , and tigrex armor is weak to thunder maybe you'll want to get kirin armor it has very good thunder res
