  • ok man THENKS for your time and help

  • so how is that SST is it slower or faster then manual???

  • Normally it shifts near instantly, so it's probably faster than the manual. I didn't drive the manual version though so I can't say for sure, but the TC-SST shifts very fast (as long as you just don't stress it around a racetrack for 10 laps, as you've seen :p).

  • hm can you get oil cooler for that?

    or somthing

  • Not really sure. I'd say the TC-SST wasn't actually designed for the racetrack because the race-spec Evo X Mitsubishi sells in Japan actually comes with the five speed manual, not the TC-SST. I've also heard of problems with dual clutch gearboxes in other cars when they're stressed on the racetrack, so I guess they're just not ready for that kind of work (or they're not built for it, not sure which).

  • i see what your seing than what is the point of super mode 5000-7000 RPM

is it for race track or maybe mauntaine roads

in any way i see the best Gearbox: Twin Clutch now is on GTR R35

well ther many good Manual but ther not that E-Z to use in big citys.

  • Yeah true, GTR comes with one of those boxes too, but obviously Nissan's made sure that twin clutch gearbox works in any racetrack condition. I don't think Mitsubishi made the same effort Nissan did when designing their gearbox...

  • yes. i see your point and THANKS for your help ;0

  • Tranny overheated on the track? That's pretty weak :(
