  • Hal has always been my favorite Green Lantern, even if a lot of people like to hate on him. This song is pretty awesome; it's also pretty cool how with current canon (maybe-- hard to say with what DC is doing now) the ring speaking to him can not only be seen as his own doubts, but also Parallax as the possessive fear entity and not just what he became when he lost his mind.

  • "Do what the blue men say... Wish they would go away..."

    Hahaha :F

  • this song makes me remember how epic Hal Jordans story really is all over again!!

  • The thing is the gaurdians are gone they're dead

  • @CaptainAmerica523

They're very much alive and kicking, though they've been reduced to just six after Sinestro Corps War and Blackest Night. Well, eight if you count Ganthet and Sayd, except Ganthet resigned as a Guardian and is in the Green Lantern Honor Guard and Sayd is Larfleeze/Orange Lantern's perch.

  • @CaptainAmerica523 Yeah, like @panzersharkcat said, the Guardians are back. They were revived by Kyle Raynor when he was Ion.

  • You know the ring isn't magic, right? It's "the most advanced piece of technology in the universe".

  • @Tollas But any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic, so you really can't tell.

  • @Tollas Yeah, I know. I just thought it sounded cool. Wasn't Alan Scott's ring magic though?

  • @fkajason Yes it was! Weak against wood, so you could easily take Jordan and Scott out with a No.2 pencil >.> Lol Big Bang Theory.

  • @nex89 Only Alan Scott was weak against wood. But yeah. Hit him with a pencil and BANG! Done.

  • @fkajason Yes Alan's is indeed magic.

  • @fkajason Yeah, the Guardians gathered almost all magic and created the Starheart to contain it. Piece of it fell to earth during the Golden-age of comics and Alan Scott created his ring from it. Also, his daughter Jade taps into the Starheart as well.
