I am a graduate of medical college in 1981 brought back lots of memories. the examination halls our hostel, cricket grounds and the convocation hall where i got my final degree my hapiness i s attached to these grounds,these buildings andeven the roads where my friends and I walked and created all sorts of fun hungama. God bless you for posting. my memories were fading you revived them. one request i did not see a beautiful the amu medical college building with its large fountain,water lilies.

3) The official AV recording of the Tarana was done in Feb'04 at AJ Kidwai Mass Comm & Research Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.

4) The official video recording contains various cliipings of the Univ buildings shot by professional camerapersons.

5) Now the bad news, this recording has not been released till date!!

6) But don't lose hope, the Audio rec was released internally and I have that in crystal clear MP3 format :-)

I was also the member of the University Music Club from 2003 to 2007 and presided as the club's Secretary during the session 2006-07.

I have some facts about this recording of the AMU Tarana, which I want to share with you all-

1) It was recorded in Mumbai by professional artists somewhere back around in the 1995-96 (as far as I know).

2) It is not considered as the official recording of the tarana by the AMU

very nice! Thank you for this complilation. I am the daughter of two AMU graduates and although I have lived in the U.S. all my life, I will feel an attachment to the university. I just visited in the summer and loved the environment. I hope to get a more complete tour sometime soon. Also, I am completely in love with the taraana!
