  • How do you tap the chords? Like are you tapping the same notes in the chord with your right hand?

  • @XxBlindedGuitaristxX Yes, just choose a pattern, or melody, and tap it 12 frets higher. Hope that helped. I t takes a lot of noodling to figure out, but once you get it....bingo.

  • @MonsterZeroo Hey that helped a lot! This is a really cool technique, thanks a lot man.

  • few questions :)

im looking to get an PR 400 or 1000, should i just for for the 400 and save some money?

are you useing any other petals?

last question, what amp are you useing?

i love this video and i cannot play without delay :)

  • Gavin, and all. Any delay that will give you 360 ms or more will do. Same goes for a bit of reverb, and phase shifting...very light. The 300 on up will get you there.

  • @Gavin776 Not to mention, just about any delay pedal will do. It may be a hair slower or faster but you will still get the general effect ;-)

  • That is simply beautiful! I have an rp300 and imma go try that right now. Thanks alot for a cool technique :)

  • Once again superb video, and that guitar is beutifull. 1986 model, man so much cool stuff came out of 1986 and a jackson sl1 from that year.... that is just legendary

It is, and shall be part of , brush storkes, in song building blocks, in a long forsaken 80's style tunage. Glad it reminds you of a true God in the art. I just share the same colors in the water box. You Eric, are a true writer of epic tunage. "clink"

  • I like this video because a) the performing and explanation are well done, and b) you seem like a decent, friendly person. Also, I've always been a big fan of experimenting with delayed sounds and some of my favorite players work like this. Eric Johnson, Michael Hedges, Steve Hillage, The Edge (obviously), and others. Thanks!
