i think a lot of people tend to site 'classic' metal. it's fun. it doesn't seem heavy now but it was very different for it's time and made you an outcast. there was a strong solidarity amongst 80's 'metal-heads' and it was powerful enough that people are still looking back at videos like this... and that's who i think VH1 was aiming at. this is dedicated to the 'all time' heritage. it's not any of the metal sub-genres that are often far "heavier".
