Unfortunately, the producers interpreted the incident incorrectly according to the commonly held belief that CSB tried to hurt Annette Lu, but it wasn't like that. Lu got hurt that day but certainly not from a round shot by a shooter from outside the jeep.

All they did that day was move the jeep to a portion of the street where there were no cameras and people around and lots of firecrackers, and made a hole in the windshield. Then they turned their video cameras back on and there was a hole.

There was a behind-the-scenes story for this incident. The "shooter" the gov't. pinned it on was picked out beforehand because he had criticized the 陳水扁 government on a talk show and he wore a distinctive yellow jacket. His brother in-law sold him out and he was dead soon afterwards. The family of the victim was also forced to "confess" or face prosecution.

This incident was used mostly to cover up the election fraud the next day. Without it, everyone would be saying 陳水扁是ㄧ個作票總統.

用一個現實的事 去創做是不錯...但是故事要有深度...如果要探討人性 就針對人性探討, 如果要凸顯動作就應該加大他的動作效果. 純粹想用 319 槍擊案去刺激買氣 是不可能的.

The election went on again on 2008, when the people in Taiwan finally realized that Chen self-directed his own killing. Chen's party lost their trust to the people and lost the election on 2008.

it's about an incident, an assassination of the former president Chen of Taiwan, happened years ago, while he was running the presidential compaign just the day before voting! However, ex-persident didn't die, and he won the election. This assassination became an mistry. So is it a hater who tried to destroy him for holding the reins of government, or a scheme he wanted to take advantage of people's sympathy? Who knows?
