  • Ahh,very nice:) What a good soul, from a white man with a human heart.I'd give you a big hug if I could in person buddy:) This was really nice.

  • @USAdude30 Thanks bro!

  • @Chris13524 You very welcome, thank's for making my day.

  • @eyemla Thank you very much!

  • Chris, you are an amazing person. I cried so much watching this, I hope you find your mother, wherever she is just know that she loves you so much and so do I. :)

  • @miszkrnpride2 Thank you so much!^^

  • i really want to know the meaning of that guy's crying, his real mom would be someone who has raised him, and supported him. It looks very emtional but i don't

believe his korean mom has been waiting for him for a long time.

  • @eugene517 Right. Im sure he is grateful about where he is now and who took him in as part of them. But I think it goes to more about where he originated from. Its an asian thing. I know.

  • @Rymaaaa Youre right...I am very grateful for my family and friends....But yes, knowing about where I originated from is definitely very important to me.

  • @eugene517 The thing is this....Eugene are you adopted by chance? If you arent....then you have no idea what it is like to be adopted. If you are adopted and you still feel the same way....then you need to understand that people react differently when it comes being adopted. It is a touchy subject for a lot of my adopted friends and they actually are quite angry about the whole thing.....But please, do not say stuff like that to people you know to be adopted....some may take it the wrong way

  • I'm a volunteer offering translating service for Korean adoptees like you. I got to be interested helping adoptees since exchange program in US. I met a Korean adoptee friend there. I felt I am needed. This is so touching. never give up. I believe you will find your birth parents soon. Good luck.

  • @kej1229 Thank you very much! I still have yet to find them but I will not give up! Every time I visit Korea I try to do something to help with the finding of my biological parents.....someday^^

  • this really made me cry a LOT. i just wanna find out how it turned out now. did you find your birth mother? i really hope you did.

  • @bityerlips ahhhh so far no luck! but i wont give up...hopefully someday^^

  • I hope you find your family! :)

  • @mariposasoleil thanks! I hope so too^^

  • I'm adopted too by an American family, I was born in Suwon, but I never thought about looking for my biological parents. Hope you find what you're looking for.

  • Is this show still running? If I'm older I'd love to do this. I have a sheet about my birth and parents but that's it.

  • @Fouge642 ahh they have shows similar to this but not the same one anymore :)

  • @Fouge642 I don't think its still running but different program running same type. I am volunteering thru Inkas(international korean adoptee service). you may get a lot of services thru here.

  • I hope u find ur birth mother! Wish all luck. I am adopted to, but to Sweden.

  • @LeeSooYoun85 hey thanks! are coming to the gathering this year in seoul?

  • I'm SO tired of seeing this retarded Chris or whoever he is. Why is he always on youtube? He's so retarded and dumb. I bet if you were his friend, he'd call you like 12 times some morning and make you go to some gay ass meat buffet in Sinchon...yeah, he's EXACTLY that type of guy. Oh, and he probably wears man heels too...so stupid!

  • haha Andrew I hate you! stop ditching me then.... kkkk how about you...you called me at 5 in the morning to talk about your night??? whats up with that????kkkkk

  • Thank you so much for posting this video. Im crying watching it I only hope that one I will go back and be so brave to go back

  • Ah, someday you will...if you ever have any questions just let me know...id be happy to help you out in any way possible :)

  • Chris, I really hope you find your birth mother soon. Please let us know how it goes. Best of luck!

  • Yes, I will definitely keep everyone posted on my progress to find my biological parents ;)

  • Chris, hope you find your mother.

Keep that hope and don't let anyone take it away from you.

  • thank you so much! i wont :)

  • Hey chris! Good luck!

  • Hi Chris

That's very touching. Your birthparents and adoptiveparents must be very proud of you. I truly hope you could find your birth family. Cheers,

  • Thank you very much! That means a lot to me.^^

  • 꼭 어머니를 찾기 바래요 ^^

  • I hope so....^^

  • T.T 파이팅!!

  • Thank you^^

  • God bless you Chris. I adopted my son from Korea last year. He was also born in Daejong City. I've learned a lot watching Korean adoptee videos on You Tube and I hope someday that James can reunite with his Korean family. Any advice for a new dad?

    Wish you all the best.

    ~Jim

  • Hey Jim,

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you....yes, actually Jim....the fact that you are very open about this and willing to help him someday reuniting with his birth parents is huge...a lot of adoptees dont have parents that are like this....just try to be as understanding of him as you can because he might go through some tough times...identity etc..but you have a while to worry about that....umm and in terms of finding his birthparents someday...there are organizations that...

  • I cried so much after watching your video.... I wish you all the best in finding your mother and remember that you must never give up.... cheers

  • Im sorry i made you cry...but thank you so much! I wont give up :)...someday ill find her^^

  • thank you very much for sharing this video. hope you can find your birth mother eventually.

  • thank you^^ I wont give up..someday ill find her :)

  • hey, just saw this through goal account...wish you luck, buddy...very nice video...

  • thanks bro....hope everything is going well for ya^^

  • Hi Chris, This was an extremely moving video clip. Thank you for sharing your story with us. My husband and I are both Korean American's and we are just starting the process of adopting from Korea. I was wondering if you would be willing to give us some advice at some point. You impressed me so much with your courage and maturity, and your open mind and heart.

    Thanks again & take care,

    Lisa Park

P.S. My husband and I are on Facebook!

  • youre weclome :)....yah of course, umm my facebook account name is Chris Hyunmoo Hemmen....add me and id love to help ya out!

  • Hey Chris, actually I am also going to Korea in December to meet my birth family! The company that is sending for a free trip is through OKF and G.O.A.L!

  • ahhhh i was actually in korea at that time...its too bad I didnt see this earlier...we could have met up @_@

  • Hi chris, my name is Rose. I am living in Korea. Have you find your mom yet, since this video. I am an adoptee myself.I have found my mother and I am in korea. If you have any questions email me. I love networking with other adoptees.Good luck

  • hey Rose, unfortunately I havent found my mother yet, but I go back to korea often. Whenever I go back I try to do a little bit of searching if possible....so well just have to wait and see I guess :)...ill be back again in December so I cant wait...but anyway do you have facebook?

  • HI - Iam also a Korean adoptee. I am searching. Can you give me tips on how to start a search in Korea. I also came through HOlt International. I was adopted in 1973,

I hope that you find your way. I have also been studying Korean language as well.I wish you the best of luck!

  • Tips, well the best thing u can do is contact an adoption organization that helps adoptees find their bio. parents...one that I work with, like stated in the video is GOAL...which stands for Global Organization Adoption Link, they have a website in English, it run by an adoptee by the name of Dae-Won Wenger. He is a great guy and would love to help u out.If u have facebook look for the GOAL group or just add him on their. But he can give you all the answers a lot better than i can. Hope that helps.

  • Hey Chris, Another Korean male adoptee here. I found my birth parents a few years ago. Irony is, my adoptee papers stated i was left at the police station, come to find out that my Korean father is a police officer in Seoul. My grandmother found me through HOLT Agency. Good luck!!!

  • Wow that's an interesting story bro...congrats though! are you in close-contact with your biological parents now?

  • Hi Chris,

I am very proud of you.

You are a very fine young man!

I wish you for the the best luck~~

  • Thank you very much^^ It means a lot to me.

  • So sad you don't even speak Korean :(

  • Ah well at the time I couldnt speak korean but now I can. Im not fluent but I can communicate. Level 4 of 6 at Kyung Hee University in Seoul^^

  • Shame on you astat for criticizing Chris! He is obviously a bright, upstanding, awesome individual who is trying to get in touch with his roots. So I think its sad that you have to try to score points off of Chris to feel better about yourself! And look, he even responded with grace even though you're an ass!

  • I never criticized Chris, so you better shut up.

  • yah jaxangelchica, thank you for for caring about me and saying all those wonderful things about me but I believe that astat1 was just saying how well you know...it is kind of sad, and we think so too as (korean adoptees) or at least I do that I cant speak korean....or at least that I couldnt...that was one of the main reasons why I wanted to learn it so bad...but thanks again^^

  • hi chris... actually i have found my family... but i was wondering what is the best way to go to Korea? I was wondering if shows like this help you provide tickets or something??

  • Hi, ahhh congrats on finding your family. Um well the best way to go to Korea is save. I wish these shows provided tickets but I dont think they do.

  • Hello Chris,

I am also a korean adult adoptee born in S. Korea. I was able to find my birth mother with help of Inkas. They help korean adoptees try to find their birth parents. I hope you are able to find them.

  • Hello Jinah, ahh yes ive heard of Inkas...they have helped me a little bit. Another organization that has helped is GOAL. I think we are very fortunate that these organizations exist. ^^

  • hope you will find! keep up the spirit!!!!!

  • Good luck! You are so brave to do this. Best of luck to you to everything in life. I think it's great that you are making all of this effort to learn a part of yourself. :-)

  • yah im glad I made the effort to learn about myself as well....at first I was a little bit hesitant but now im really glad that I did...I just need to wait/pray now..thats all I can really do

  • Keep up the faith. Good things come to those who wait. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. :-)

  • very touching.good luck
