Mark, why does your Odyssey lack the voices? I've noticed in all your reviews that the games that have voices in them which is a voice similar to the speak n spell voice is missing in your games that have speech. In this game, it says "Hurry", "Watch Out", "Ouch" and "Oh No". I think there is also a laugh in there as well.

Cool review and there's some nice little touches in the programming. If you look closely, you notice that "the Dratterpillar" is smiling but once the last segment of his body is eaten, he then frowns lol.

Good vid. That centipede as you call him was actually known as "the Dratterpillar" by the good folks at Philips. This was also one of my favorites. Ah, memories! I spent hours upon hours upon HOURS playing this game when I was a kid. It was my all time favorite.

@polomarey Now, if I remember correctly, wasn't there a feature that let you build your own maze? Or perhaps it was a game bug in one of the higher levels, I'm not sure . . . but I distinctly remember there was a way to "cheat" in that there was this one level where the centipede always went right by KC's opening position. You could cut the centipede right behind the head and muncha muncha through all his sections without even chasing him.

It's funny how the titles of these games are really different here in Germany: THUNDERBALL! is named Pinball (how boring), KC Munchkin is Super-Mampfer ("Super-Munchkin") and this game, K.C.'s Krazy Chase is "Super-Mampfers Rache" ("Super-Munchkin's Revenge). I like the style of the american titles more.
