The F-Zero franchise is commonly associated with rock, but I think the original F-Zero actually had closer terms with progressive jazz in a lot of its soundtrack. Silence is a perfect example.

There's a very preceptive difference between this one and the F-Zero X theme. I don't know why they didn't just remix the old theme. Instead, they put a new one from scratch.
