@robbyvenetian- It's possible that they had less HP but its soooo easy to get more power from a small block Ford that it really doesn't matter. The engine had been built up from stock.

@robbyvenetian The difference in HP is likely due to exhaust/emissions restrictions such as catalytic converters. At least that is the reason for the HP difference between the European and American versions of the DeLorean DMC-12.

I can't agree with the interior colour, and the car shows its age and simplicity, but it's an absolutely beautiful vehicle and a total standout from the grey and white plastic boredom occupying your area (not that the area itself doesn't look great, though).

Also, this car has a massive amount of "trunk"space. :|

what an absolute beauty! the new exotics are nothing compared to these. new exotics are mainly owned by wall street douches, hollywood douches, drug dealing douches. whereas these true classic exotics are owned by real guys who love them, and like working on them. the aforementioned douches don't even fill them up with gas let alone maintain them. but that's ok! as long as the douches don't start meddling with these true beauties and stick with their 911 turbo douche mobiles!

Je n'ai encore jamais eu l'occasion d'en voir une pour de vrai. C'est vraiment une superbe machine, malheureusement mal aimée des italiens au moment de sa sortie, comme les autres De Tomaso, tout comme toute marque italienne qui n'était pas considérée comme pur sang (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati), c'est à dire une marque fabriquant non seulement ses châssis mais aussi ses propres moteurs. Bizzarini, LMX et Iso rejoignent De Tomaso dans cette catégorie injustement décriée à l'époque.
