New JVC head unit with JL amp and 10" subs

ok here is my only question, can anybody still st on your back seat? and can you play the subs with the seat closed and with people on it, or no?

@kowal789 I ride with the seat down 100% of the time. I have had tons of people sit in the backseat and have never had a problem.

@stevenalangley ok thanks, was just worried if i get done cause people tell me that it completely wrecks them if you have any weight on the seat while it is down, and still play the subs.

@kowal789 No problems. I did end up playing it safe and putting grill guards on them a few months ago. I'd recommend that for a little extra insurance.

@51wacth A a shop in HI, but this box is fairly common and many shops carry them.

If I were you I would check into some grills for them. I have one behind my seat in a Nissan frontier where I don't have much room and a grill really helps

this box is garbage, only has like .61 cubic feet, and thats sealed, you usually need atleast 1 foot to get some nice movin bass, and thats for just 1 sub, i found and ordered a badass box made out of mdf and armor coated with high pressure polyurethane for $199 and it holds 8"s 10"s and 12"s, im droppin to mtx 5500 12"s dvc with a 1600 watt db drive mono block all wired at 1 ohm stable, gonna break windows bitches!!!

seeing your vid really put me at eaz cuz im gettin the same box just custom made for more air BUT im getting some mtx 5512s and a 1400 watt sony class d mono block so i know im gonna be thumpin nice and hard, plus a jvc hd ipod control BT head unit and poineer 6X8s and rears

it works for a lower budget build. I think this box was a little over a hundred. If you wanna spend a little more and get a better sound..I've heard the Foxbox and probox are pretty good.

I have the same subs just looking for enclosure like this one locally. Did you have to cut out carpet in storage area where the enclosure goes. I have an 07 2500 quad.

mines a 2500 '07 as well but I have the ST package so I have no carpet in my truck, just vinyl. I found this box locally at an audio store..I've also seen similar ones on ebay

thanks man, I'm running a JVC KW-AVX820 head unit..door speakers are Alpine Type S and the subs are 2x JL 10W1v2 powered by a JL 250/1v2. It's actually a pretty low budget build, but like you said it all balanced out pretty well.
