I totally disagree with Charles Barkley. He definitely made his teammates better in Philly such as Eric Snow, S Dalembert, Mutombo, and Matt Geiger. Without Iverson, those guys stunk. Would have never made it anywhere without him. Let's be real people. Give this man his proper due. No one could guard him.

Kenny Smith no one is scared of him, he's not the only bad boy that ever played in the NBA with baggage. The problem with him he's not a team player and he's not good enough anymore to carry a team by himself. Iverson is not that good anymore, as simple as that. And no coach is going to put up with major drama from a player who is now just average. Iverson needs to get through his thick skull he's no longer great..

barkley's kinda hated on AI for his whole career... he got to the finals with the suns, but i think barkley's heart is in philly too and he wants more recognition as a 76er great (which he deserves).

Anyway, one things for sure -- even if AI isn't the same -- if he was on New Orleans hornets right now, they wouldn't be bankrupt... and he would sell tickets for any basement team (and probably any good team) -- probably the dumbest thing an AI hater can say is that he isn't fun to watch.

Allen Iverson is by far the best player of this generation..... he scores when he wants and averages like 7 ast thru his career...always top in steals..took a sucky team to the finals without an allstar team like bos, L.A. or mia..and dat yr he got mvp, allstar mvp, n woulda gotten finals mvp..nobody wanted him off the Bench til Det...the season b4 he was at 26 ppg (den).and guess what? Barkely knows these dudes personally. He has insight into the game that you and I do not. That's why he's so great on the show. He's also a dynamic personality. But heim and the players that come ointo the studio are always great to see because they add insight to the game. Also they are always great players or used to be when they played. I don't think anyone would wanna hear a retied bench player who played on a not so great team in the studio.
