The information on cell reproduction is not correct. The reason carbon copies of living creatures do not occur is because every copy has some imperfections. The imperfections are also called mutations. The original cells that make you came from 2 people. You are a copy of both and share there attributes.

Theologically the errors you cite are not caused by the original work of the designer but the disobedience of the free will agent. There is a great difference between a corrupt design and a design with the potential to be corrupted.

Just because there are errors in a few designs does not mean that there is no design. Consider the difference between a Mercedes and a Ford Pinto. Just because the Pinto is inferior does not negate the reality that it is designed.

To answer your question, God made humans perfect. So perfect infact that we had the ability to live forever, but we lost that a long time ago. God told Adam and Eve that they would die if they ate of the fruit and that's what happened. They sinned (aka disobeyed God) and God put a trigger somewhere in our genes (no scientist knows how or why) which makes us age and die. We are now copies of imperfect copies and so thus develop the deformities. The problem isn't with Him it's, they chose wrong

Medicine today could not function without the basis of evolution, such as the flu, you would only get one flu shot in your life time, but since it evolves you have to get many flu shots throughout your life time. I was recently thinking, what if the light sensitive cells or neurons in the eye could not detect visible light? That thin sliver of light frequency in the light spectrum gives meaning to life on earth, how could have natural selection chosen such traits if it is undirected?

at any rate most of the verses quoted down there are not written in scientific modern language. also, they are written to be understood by the people via metaphors. eg. foundations would mean depths or base, not actual posts like in modern buildings. even after reading up on the two sides, and agreeing that circles are not spheres, yet most important is the context it was writen in. even if God gave visions, i don't think that ancient people can properly interpert it in terms of modern science.
Cells can't know how to do anything, they work based on biochemistry and the principles of genetics, the theory of evolution explains the beneficial variation and change based on selective pressure in the DNA which regulates diversification in tissue to change morphology.
cells are designed to run automatically. it would be terribly inefficient for cells to always await the order of God to do this or that. God, being God of efficiency, would of course prefer a system that self-regulates. just as a robot in a factory runs its sub-routines without supervision, a cell functions independantly.
Sure it would, but I see no physical or theological evidence in favor of that argument, I see biochemistry, I see evolution producing proteins to break down molecules to sugars for a cells metabolism, why god starts life is also unsupported and in light of genetics is virtually impossible according to life's story in the bible. That is a good point, the opposite however is not commonly true, many scientists or those 'scientifically minded' =D, have not seen what their brains have been trained to scrupulously examine for in order to trust something to be practical regarding religion. the womb is no where near 'perfect' its more perfect in animals which walk on 4 legs, as they can have wider hips and giving birth isnt as painful for them, we walk on 2 legs, and our bodies are slender, and since human brain size is large, its EXTREMLY painful for women to give birth

no, ive never given childbirth, and it would be worrying if i had considering im male, but animals which walk on four legs have a much easier time doing the birth giving, its also why the bones in a human skull fuse over time, whereas in other animals they come out almost fully formed
Other creatures are born much more developed than us, able to stand and walk around very soon after seeing the world for the first time. Although I think you'll find giving birth is not that much better for all other animals, cows for example. Also I don't think women go on reproducing just because they "get over it" the instinct to breed outweighs the pain. We're still animals after all. No matter how big our brains get.

The information on cell reproduction is not correct. The reason carbon copies of living creatures do not occur is because every copy has some imperfections. The imperfections are also called mutations. The original cells that make you came from 2 people. You are a copy of both and share there attributes.

To answer your question, God made humans perfect. So perfect infact that we had the ability to live forever, but we lost that a long time ago. God told Adam and Eve that they would die if they ate of the fruit and that's what happened. They sinned (aka disobeyed God) and God put a trigger somewhere in our genes (no scientist knows how or why) which makes us age and die. We are now copies of imperfect copies and so thus develop the deformities. The problem isn't with Him it's, they chose wrong

In fact, the addition of new base pairs is a sort of mutation, as is the deletion. Both of these types of mutations can cause frame shifts. Substitution is a third type of mutation that doesn't cause frame shifts, and often has less of an impact than the two previous sorts, especially if it takes place in an intron. Species/individuals/generations would be selected based on their present defaults or absence thereof.But natural selection is an ongoing process,&for it 2proceed,change must occur,or the finest would be selected,&the process would stop.These changes come either from the environment or from MUTATIONS(bad 1s like cancer&genetic diseases/malformations which eliminate beings or good 1s which favour their survival)

that was my point...natural selection doesn't do anything but make an existing species more fit, and i emphasize on the existing part. proponents of darwinian evolution became aware of this and added mutation to the mix to drive change...and the favorable muations that enhance survival that happen every now and then don't serve to make the species change into another..say from reptile to a bird etc no matter how long of a time scale we're talking about.

Natural selection as it turns out IS the directing force, what undirected evolution means is that life adapts to environmental pressures not what future pressures may be, no specific outcome is involved just continued adaptation.

at any rate most of the verses quoted down there are not written in scientific modern language. also, they are written to be understood by the people via metaphors. eg. foundations would mean depths or base, not actual posts like in modern buildings. even after reading up on the two sides, and agreeing that circles are not spheres, yet most important is the context it was writen in. even if God gave visions, i don't think that ancient people can properly interpert it in terms of modern science.

Cells can't know how to do anything, they work based on biochemistry and the principles of genetics, the theory of evolution explains the beneficial variation and change based on selective pressure in the DNA which regulates diversification in tissue to change morphology.

cells are designed to run automatically. it would be terribly inefficient for cells to always await the order of God to do this or that. God, being God of efficiency, would of course prefer a system that self-regulates. just as a robot in a factory runs its sub-routines without supervision, a cell functions independantly.

Sure it would, but I see no physical or theological evidence in favor of that argument, I see biochemistry, I see evolution producing proteins to break down molecules to sugars for a cells metabolism, why god starts life is also unsupported and in light of genetics is virtually impossible according to life's story in the bible. The dozens of massive population bottlenecks in the the bible do not appear at all in our genome or in genetically similar primates like chimps.

Your reference to "random chance", I take, is a shot at evolutionary theory. The development of life is a well-documented scientific occurrence, with highly conserved evolutionary pathways. One need only look cursorily at the scientific literature. And no, I'm not an atheist. Allah (SWT) works in the most amazing way ever, through evolution.

Why the heck you would want US in the universe is beyond me, I am agnostic, I go with the realm of observation. But I commend your truth seeking and desire to be rational to an extent and not completely stifled to knowledge like many.

That is a good point, the opposite however is not commonly true, many scientists or those 'scientifically minded' =D, have not seen what their brains have been trained to scrupulously examine for in order to trust something to be practical regarding religion. I think the real reason people are more like you is that they see reason in science, but can't NOT have faith so they accommodate what they know practically and what they know in faith, the result is a moderate, more collected theist. the womb is no where near 'perfect' its more perfect in animals which walk on 4 legs, as they can have wider hips and giving birth isnt as painful for them, we walk on 2 legs, and our bodies are slender, and since human brain size is large, its EXTREMLY painful for women to give birth

I'm sure you've never experienced childbirth so I would just like to say one thing. I agree that giving birth is painful no matter what creature you are, it all depends on your pain threshold, but why do women go on reproducing? Because they get over it!

no, ive never given childbirth, and it would be worrying if i had considering im male, but animals which walk on four legs have a much easier time doing the birth giving, its also why the bones in a human skull fuse over time, whereas in other animals they come out almost fully formed

Other creatures are born much more developed than us, able to stand and walk around very soon after seeing the world for the first time. Although I think you'll find giving birth is not that much better for all other animals, cows for example. Also I don't think women go on reproducing just because they "get over it" the instinct to breed outweighs the pain. We're still animals after all. No matter how big our brains get.

Actually, the reason it hurts so much for people to give birth is that the baby has such a HUGE head in comparison to its body.

I just want to interject here. Skilledknowledge was asking why christians think Jesus is God. Your response didn't explain that at all. It was just a quote saying to love and worship God... not Jesus. Did Jesus ever actually say he was God? He said he was the son of God yes. But I'm fairly sure he said we ALL are. I'm very sorry if i'm being offensive, I just want to know if anywhere in the bible he actually calls himself God.

The concept of a flat earth in the bible (if taken literally) exists but some of the ancient world did believe this, though even before the bible it was known or at least theorized that it was round using indirect evidence.

Except Jesus never said that...in fact, he preached the exact opposite "the father is greater than I" "why do you call me good"...he practiced the Monotheistic JEWISH religion worshipping God (Eloi, or Allah, or The God), without the changes of the Torah from the Scribes and misinterpretations of the Pharisees...where did you get this idea of worshipping God, Jesus and the Angel Gabriel anyway? (It sounds like something the Romans & Greeks would say, like Hercules and the other sons of Zeus)
