  • GM/Fisher FOREVER !

  • nice

  • sweet. my dad had a 77 chevy beauville van. it came factory with a tow package and had a 400 small block,4 barrel carb and a posi rear with 4.10 gears. dad added dual exhaust and aluminum wheels and it was a fun ride. he was the fastest van around until it spun a bearing. miss that van.lol

  • Man, that sounded soo sweet.

  • i have a later tbi which isnt nearly as powerful as your setup. i love the looks of the classic chevy van tho.

  • Haha sweet! =)

  • Nice burnout and it sounded good too. :) Sorry I missed this before.

  • i've seen your video several times and gonna recreate it with my 78 when i get it back from restoration, peace

  • i am wanting to rebuild my motor but being fuel injected with the spider injection i dont want to build it to the point of not enough fuel but i figure a 406 with a turbo with be ok

  • VERY NICE! i would love to race ;)

  • Any update videos from your van now that you have probably broken it in nicely.

  • When I get some time I'll do a 0-60 vid. It's running great, I've taken the engine up to 6,100 revs in 2nd gear (85 mph speedo was buried deeply), it's really smooth and quick revving.

  • Cream dream! VERY nice rig, keep on Vannin !

  • OOoh!! Cool!! Pretty cool machine you got! Very interesting infos about the mechanic!

  • @ Tabarnacos - Thanks for the kind words, I like your ride as well.

  • thats a true good ol van, not that shit made today. i want the 80s full size chevy with no side windows and shage carpet with a couch thing in it. and paint in in a 70s color or a mystery machine scheme. ,, very nice

  • @ locohog91 - Thanks! On the note of modern shit, a guy in the office building I work in just got an Infiniti FX55(?) and kept bragging about how his car has 395 horsepower. I smoked him real good when we lined 'em up, we figure this van's packin' about 470 horsepower.

  • That's awesome, nothin like a bad-ass shaggin wagon! When you gonna get the 70's shag carpet and paint a murial on the back doors? lol Seriously tho that's awesome!

  • haha love it. just cant hold that 3rd gear but nice.

  • Oh it'll hold third fine, we had to let off due to the cops showing up. When I get some time I'll take it to a more isolated place to play.

  • thats no old lady van. if it was no way would i drive it. that would smaoke all the old ladies off the road

  • Most definitely not ;)

It'll smoke a lot more than little old ladies, I took a Cayenne Turbo down with it recently. We figure it's got just over 500 lb ft of torque (and torque is what pushes you up to speed quickly.)

  • I took a Land Rover Discovery with the supercharged emblem on it with my 1983 G20 the other day. 11:1 350 TPI on E85 with Vortec heads, Reed Custom grind roller cam, Doug Thorley Tri-Ys, Dual 2 1/2" exhaust, Built 700r4 with 2,600 rpm converter. Its a full weight Conversion van, long 125" wheelbase and has run a 14.6 @ 94 in the 1/4 with 3.08 gears and P295/50/R17 street tires.

  • Very nice! Sounds like you've got a solid 400 or so horsepower with plenty of torque.

  • Hearing how fast this beast is makes me want one of these and makes me also want to turn it into a rice killer like this. =)

  • I like the burn-out, very cool!

  • holy crap your van has some power
