This was so much fun to participate in. Props go out to our group instructor, Brooke (The girl in the Evey, from V for Vendetta, costume). The Alien and the group of Storm Troopers really added to the adventure.

I was one of the people I know of that got injured. I merely tried to dislocate my knee and ended up sitting with a ice pack under it for a while and then went on to do the Thriller! Go me!

Props to the Con staff who went running for EMTs, Ice and other support it was very reassuring for me and my friend/roomie (who was a awesome Captain John in the Parade). I also like to thank the guy who was our dance teacher and the people in the class for their concern.

haha, yes. You are correct, sir! That was not supposed to happen. Also, the video is a bit jerky in some places. That's not supposed to happen either. I suspect that my computer was having a brain fart during the rendering of those sequences. Either way, I'm going to make a better version, exactly the same as this one, but better and upload it for everyone.

I just didn't want to wait even longer to finally upload a video of this attempt than I was already taking. I was getting frustrated with people thinking that the Alien video was of the real attempt. So, I will be uploading the professional pics to the website very soon as well as getting a better version of this (better but exactly the same) in the next few days. (Part 2 of 2) Hm, another thought is this: Considering The Dark Knight made $533,345,358 domestically & $1,001,921,825 internationally, it would be hard for someone to deny that it was a fairly huge movie from only a year and a half ago. Given those numbers and the fact that it's a fairly recent movie, I'm surprised that there aren't more.

Again, let me reiterate the whole having fun aspect of the venture combined with raising a little money for charity.

If you don't like it, don't watch. =D

I just have to say that this was probably the most memorable experience of my first Dragon Con. What I love about this video is that I can actually be seen for a brief second around 1:14 or 1:15. So yay, I'm happy.

I would like to give a great big thanks to all those who helped organize it and make it possible, as well as the dancing coaches, in particular the girl who cosplayed Evey, who taught my group. If you see this, thanks SO MUCH! You taught me the whole dance in that one afternoon!

With that said, I THINK WE BROKE YOUTUBE. haha. For the past seven hours, it has said 302 views. ...This was the count before the most of you had seen the email from me. There were only 5 comments at that time. Now there are 30. So, I'm curious to see what the real view count is. YouTube, don't fail me now!

Okay, so I did some research. At the end of July, a lot of users were having issues with their view counts freezing around 300. YouTube's reply said that when a video gets very popular, very quickly, it takes their computers a while to catch up.

So, good job, Dragon*Con! We broke the interwebs.
