This scene is one of the reasons Halloween Resurrection sucked the most out of all. Of the prior sequels any die-hard fan would know Michael Myers wouldn't turn around and leave. Michael would have killed Freddie then went to the garage to kill Norra.

The reason the scene was written like that is because they could see he ccouldn't act seriously. They also edited out Nora's death because Tyra can't act for shit. Watch the deleted scene where she dies and tell me she can act.

Jamie Lee Curtis was killed at the beginning, it was like WTF? Nothing against Bianca Kajlich - she was decent main heroine but she couldn't save the whole film.
