On that Saturday Night Live show Klaus Nomi and Joey Arrias where on stage together with David Bowie. In fact, Joey Arrias was the "red guy". Nomi & Arrias carried David Bowie onto the stage in that special costume.
Following that Nomi decided to also have an even more special outfit - and shortly after the black & white triangle outfit was created.
The first time I ever saw him was...I think...on Saturday Night Live back in the 70's...performing with David Bowie. Klaus was in black, and David was in red...and they were standing in big urns of matching colors, carried onstage by some big men. I'm sure I saw this...but can someone please corroborate this? I don't remember what they sang.
@tedzodd i remember him and Bowie on SNL doing TVC15 from Station to Station while dressed like futuristic flight attendants and i also remember what u r describing but the song escapes me, seems like Bowie did Boys keep Swinging from the Lodger LP that same show , his head super imposed over a paper bag body sort of , it was a lot to take in but most agree Bowie ripped off Klaus and tossed him aside, he really owes Klaus.
@BrohemianRhapsody.same shit...i can t really get my head around this guy s music.it s so comical and crap.this is the ancestor of lady gaga...i can t stop laughing...
i have found the theme song to my life.

Nomi seems like one of those guys who's so far out there, that you really can't stick him in a genre that's come before or will come in the future.

What does "giddyonup" mean ?
Organiste06 1 year ago
@Organiste06 it's like "giddy up." A command by a rider to a horse, exhorting the animal to start running in a fast gallop

Close, but not quite. NBC will delete SNL videos from YT, but you can find them with a *video* search on google. Search for "Bowie Nomi"

Nope, much earlier.

There is a different version from ZABAKDAZ, and the idea of the "rubberband laser" is from the plot of ZABAKDAZ.
