There's something up with the font for the notes and rests, they're all hockey sticks with circles, scissors, and mailboxes. I'm not joking. How do I change this?

No, there is only a paid version, the only free version at the moment that I have found was Finale Notepad 2007. Which I have in a video that I made.

lmao. Ur loss. No viruses, you can ask the other people who downloaded as well. If ur really afraid go get 1 from torrenting and see if there isn't trojan in it. Mine was directly downloaded from the 2008 website when it was free.

Are the notes supposed to be so messed up? all the notes i see have excess sguiggly lines around them and it makes it impossible to see the rhythym and notes. idk if thats the font bug ur talkin about, but any suggestions?

Hmm well go look at desciption. ive recently uploaded font pack for music. it should work... otherwise i think ur PC isnt meant for this program.

hey, i just dowloded finale, and tried tu run it BUT it opens a window about maestro font, i know you left some instructions but the thing is that i tried to open the page with the maestro font but it doesn't open and says something like "404 Not Found". Can you help me with that please? is there any weblink else that you know where i can download the font?

what's the problem?

2 problems i can think off now:

1) Get a program called Winrar / Winzip / 7Zip. With those u can open the content inside. (FREE)

2) Ur system do not support this program.

There is a folder that contains the program. Extract it out and then just run the program and there you go.

If u get font errors then look at description

hmm about mac and other supporting systems, the best advice would be for you to google mac finale notepad.. otherwise it should work

Vista and XP works fine. Only problem for Vista is that they cant open thier font folder... which is preety sure where the problem ends up for most of ya.. ill try to find a solution to this.

Vista... Hmm.. if u can see the fonts, one way is to go online and download every font into your folder.

Google Maestro Font. It might be the solution.

Try changing "compatibility mode" on your Finale shortcut in Vista. Ensure it's in Windows XP emulation *and* running in Administrator mode.
