  • Dummy shoulda tapped.

  • tap or your shit gets broken, like big nog

  • Hope he ruins Cain Velasquez, GO ON FRANK! :D

  • Frank ''Tap or Snap'' Mir !!

  • they should again since his bjj has become even better:P I'm sure fabricio werdum will have fun get his legs ripped off :P they are a possible match for ufc in brazil this summer:)

  • my god, with good method u can even crash metal with bare hands

  • Frank Mir - Where horsepower and technique meet.

  • i'd tap out before the fight starts!!!! gotta be mental to fight him

  • only 60 pounds nikka if your elbow was on top of a couple of bricks with 60 pounds on your chest and hand and the brick is moving upwards would you still say only

  • big nog says so..

  • common thigh? erra body know you use your nuts as the fulcrum

  • mir breaks people's shit off. fucking beast.

  • hilarious, he did both techiiques half ass!

  • I thought frank was 6'3, they said he was 6'1

  • "How much force does Frank Mir apply in a joint lock?" idk ask Nogueira

  • This is your knee.... this is your knee when Frank Mir gets ahold of it.

  • Somebody should have showed this to BIG NOG!!!

  • @Mattjosh50 LMAO

  • @Mattjosh50 poor nog!

  • HE ALSO SHATTERD NOGS ARM. DICK. FUCK FRANK

  • @themondoshow Tap, Nap, or Snap. Big Nog is BJJ black belt. He should have known when he rolled with the Kimura and still didn't get out that it was tap out time. Instead he hung on. It's his own fault he will now need lots of reconstructive surgery.

  • @Keyaneth2 agreed, he may have to have 1-2 years out due to that. and that really fucks a fighter

  • Big Nog should have seen this show.

  • and minotauros at ufc 140

  • 2:11 Not at UFC 140!!!

  • no wonder Antonio Nogueira arm broke

  • mir can't bench 450 lol not that it matters in fighting

  • frank mir JOINTS!

  • CRUNCH

  • Whats that leg submission called he used to break the dummies leg?

  • @sregi22 Kneebar.

  • The arm bar cannot damage the humerus, science douche.

It affects the elbow joint and failing that the forearm.

  • @mangusrah yeah but in this case the humerus was placed over the thigh

  • @ZeroXF5 Doesn't matter if it's over the thigh or the groin. The arm bar cannot damage the humerus because the extended joint would give out long before any bone in the arm.

It's possible that he was speaking trivially, saying that if the elbow were invincible the move would still be effective, but I honestly don't think he knew any better.

  • Sometimes guys refuse to tap and get ther arm broken :S that suxxxxxx

  • @Znasdaddah Unless they're Royce Gracie.

  • Brock Lesnar and Tim Sylvia disliked this video!! :D

  • @MrCaHea hahaha xD damn right

  • @MrCaHea and Nogueira :D

  • @barclay212 and Kongo

  • @MrCaHea then brock liked it again for making Mirs face look like a beet at UFC 100

  • Big Nog also disliked this now....

  • Frank has the most "Violent" Submissions in the world.

  • @ultimatefighter187 I think its Shinya Aoki and I don't mean to boast about it

  • frank broke the dummie LMAO

  • this guys so gay. not frank, the gay science guy. oooh now i can watch him get choked out by fedor emelianenko

  • bench press with 204 kg ? really ? nigga please

  • Fuck! It is so ridiculous when they compare these fighters ablilities "It´s like getting hit by a hammer, baseball bat, hippo or elephant dick." eyah for sure its not, don´t feed me this bs.

  • LOL only? try getting your arm into an arm lock with someone bending it with 60 pounds of force.

  • Mirko cro cop would easily be the best striker ever in mma. best kicker for sure! :P

  • too bad he got pawned by a fake wrestler entertainer clown.

  • @JoeCaliforniah its "pown." as in a mistype of own that caught on. and lesnar was actually a serious amateur wrestler and athlete dude. i'm not like a fan of him, i'm just saying.

  • @x3somevanillasex nope. its "PAWNED" LIKE "NIGGER"

  • @JoeCaliforniah lawl no wonder you don't take lesnar seriously at all. have fun getting owned by all the black dudes if you ever attempt to play a sport with people other than your little white power circle jerk buddies.

  • i thought frank is 6'3?

  • @wwescsazz that's his billed height

  • @siaosiaochin nah dont think so man, fedor is 6'1 and doesnt look much shorter than the host but mir looks big cmpared to the host

  • @wwescsazz Fedor is <= 6'0 for sure. i met him once and he was around my height. I'm 6'0 btw. Frank Mir should be around 6'1 - 6'2.

  • @wwescsazz

they do everything wrong in their studio..if now jose aldo could come to sports science lab, they would somehow calculate thats his punch is harder than cains

  • @wwescsazz he is^^

  • @wwescsazz That's his billed height

  • "We don't usually have this happen in the UFC," says the guy that shattered Tim Sylvia's arm lol

  • @intactGB haha so true lmao

  • @intactGB

and dont forget the guy who snapped travens arm lol

  • @intactGB Usually being the operative word. Tim Sylvia didn't have the sense to tap out.

  • @COLUMBINE1818 Tim Sylvia had no idea his arm snapped. Frank Mir, Sylvia, and everyone else were oblivious, only Herb Dean saw it, and saved Tim's career. Everyone was booing Herb Dean if you remember, until the replay came up, and then they realized he made an excellent call. Tim Sylvia was pissed that it was stopped, he didn't know it was broken though. Afterwards when he found out that Herb saved his career, he went back and thanked him.

  • @crx122 Again Tim Sylvia did not have the sense to tap out. With submissions there are only two likely outcomes if you can't get out of them fast enough. Someone gets you in a joint lock and cranks it, you're probably going to the hospital if you don't tap. In a choke hold you're going to sleep if you don't tap. Even if you don't know your arm is broke it's a certainty some damage is going to happen. Especially with how good Frank Mir's arm bar that night was.

  • @COLUMBINE1818 What I'm saying is that I don't think most people would have the sense to tap. The amount of torque it takes to snap your arm isn't very much, these guys are used to pain. I honestly think it snapped before he felt real pain, I can only imagine how pumped on adrenaline those guys are. I'm really big into BJJ, when we practice, it's obvious when you need to tap, you feel it right away. In matches where adrenaline takes over though, sometimes you don't feel it till it's too late.

  • @intactGB he said usually... :S lol

  • @intactGB and popped big nog's arm out...

  • @intactGB add Big Nog to the list

  • @intactGB and also the guy snapping big nogs arm

  • @intactGB and now Nogieras arm....

  • @intactGB And Noguira arm :D

  • @intactGB and he recently broke Minotauros arm or shoulder

  • @TheUnbyistVoice Shoulder*

  • @siaosiaochin actually... the elbow was the first to give in. his arm is now repared and it took 16 screws and a titanium plate.

  • @MMAstokke Yeah right

  • @siaosiaochin look it up bro :)

  • @MMAstokke Yeah bro

  • @intactGB and now Minotauro! yeah it's pretty ironic lol

  • @intactGB and Nogueiras too! :(

  • OUCH MY KNEE!!!!

  • what the fudge cracker HE BROKE THE FUCKING DUMMIES LEG HOLY SHEET !!!!

  • What kind of leglock was that? Not a kneebar

  • @Motoruven no that was a kneebar

  • its not to the upper arm the force is applied, its to the elbow. its hurst because of the hyperextention of the arm

  • stop complaining either shut up or quit watching...

  • frank is a beast

  • only 60 punds of force? Dude... thats 60 pounds of pressure applied in the wrong direction of your fucking elbow!

  • I wanna see paul harris do that leg lock

  • Comment removed

  • i love how he compared moving the world to world champion, watta dmbass

  • He doesn't look 265lbs :S

  • if frank broke the dummy, imagine what lesnar would do.

  • @Hemouth lesar has no skills in bjj though, so he wouldnt get a chance to do it in a fight.

  • how annoying is this guys voice? shitt man

  • he didn't squeeze his knees....

  • This is the most ridiculous and incorrect show ever. They just claim shit.

  • wouldnt like to be jon jones if frank gets him in an armbar :|

  • "making the arm a 22 inch long lever"

In the video this line goes to the shoulder... but it should only go to the elbow

  • Mir is a beast!

  • i heard the dummy scream

  • :l feels like hes talking to me like im a baby

  • and lets call him the best submission guy ever:d

  • im just a ufc Fan!, and frank mir is my favorite Fighter In the Ufc I watch his Video how he is Doing The Submissions ANd yeah It helpt I did it when I had problems with People they want to Fight To me i took him Down and did a Submission his arm was Broken:d

  • @921semih Dont go breaking peoples arms man. Not cool!

  • @superultramegamighty haha but is a good tactic you know If Someone iss Busting You out yeah what are you going to do? Stand There and do nothing? hahaha break arms and he will never do that Again

  • 6'3" is his billing height.....it's not some conspiracy but a fact that fighters be it Boxing, MMA or WWE...all use 2" for their billing height. So if MMA says he is 6'3" , he is 6'1".....And 6'1" is also pretty tall.

  • @MrChutzpah2002 only pro wrestling uses extra height.for example lesnar is 6'3"and always has been billed at that height even in pro wrestling and no way in hell is he 6'1" and he stood eye to eye with mir ,so mir defintley 6'3"

  • @hitmanash1 Just because UFC has Mir billed as 6'3 does not mean that is his correct height. Hell, they had Carwin listed as 6'5. They also have Liddell listed as 6'2 and he is shorter than Tito who is also billed as 6'2. Lesnar is 6'2, and that has even been stated by the NFL. Mir is slightly shorter than Lesnar, putting him in the 6'1 range. I even remember watching a video in which Mir said he was 6'1... and it was even on his website at one point too with his other stats.

  • @MrChutzpah2002 I've stood with Mir...he's 6''3

  • @tinman765 OK Sir he is 6'3"...you won....I am not a fan of MMA or anything so I don't take any offense and neither want to offend the fans.

  • @MrChutzpah2002 eh... don't worry about it

  • Who cringed watching him apply that knee bar? Terrifying.

  • Haha franks "weak punches" yeah that's why knocked down chieck Congo in first minute ahaha!!

  • they should SERIOUSLY get Paul Daley on this show

  • @SpaceNTime77 they should get Nick Diaz instead!

  • @bofohandsome Yeah I agree. Especially after this Saturday hahaha

  • 450 lbs HAHAHAHAHA BROCK CANT DO THAT

  • @georgeryan09 yer funny dude

  • wtf he isnt 6'1 he is 6'3

  • bench pressing isnt really important to mma, so dont know why they brought up that statistic...should of had put up how much he can squat or deadlift

  • Man they loads of crap on this show, they're telling me that Frank Mir applied exactly the same amount of force? In the world of Science nothing is ever exact.

  • @ChaggyD yeah he used the same force on a longer lever to create more torque. don't talk criticize the "world of science" because you lack the most basic understanding of torque.

  • @khopskins Ah shit I get it now lol. Same force but because of the longer lever the torque or moment was greater. However I still think there would've been some difference in force. They probably rounded it off though and assumed it as equal.

I must've been in a crazy zone that day plus I think I got a grudge against this show lol.

  • @ChaggyD I know what you mean sometimes I make a comment then days later someone points something out that makes me look dumb lol. several things thought that I wanted to point out: 1. He is the same person in almost the same position so I don't see why you can't accept that it may be the same force applied by the same human being. 2. You may be right because he obviously busted the dummy so maybe they only recorded the last reading. 3. science isn't exact it's incredibly precise tho

  • knees together frank

  • @TheDella91 fuck you, he is a Black belt and his goal is to submit you, not to be anal about how he gets the job done

  • @jagdjohn96 seriously man, no need to get fucked up over, a small comment. yeah frank didnt pinch his knees but if it works for him, then its fine with everybody. He's still damn good at submitting someone. So chill man :))

  • @DOMDZ90911 that comment was 5 months ago, you were looking that far back (well maybe not that far, if its a wopping 94 comments), but I dont like when ppl get side tracked to the technique being perfect, if it gets the job done when it isnt possible to apply the technique 100%, then that is all you need. Notice how many times guys squeeze hard on guillotines. the reason they squeeze it to try and make up for not getting the grip around the nech

  • @jagdjohn96 I agree, also many great fighters don't stick to techniques 100%. What makes a great fighter is being able to adapt those techniques for the situation they're in!

  • I remember they used to list koscheck's height as 6'1 during his first few fights after tuf, and he's really like 5'9

  • lol he is talking about frank punches, which are the weakest in hw division.

  • I'd believe 300 pounds...

  • MONSTER xD, I Hope He will Kill Roy Nelson

  • bring mirko cro cop sport science and look what will do his high kick.

  • @Vassago879 Check out Bas Ruttens sport science kick, its crazy.

  • @Vassago879 CroCop is a has been now, he's old and busted

  • @JayMains

lol but he still can kick your head off..its weird how cro cop is old and anderson silva isnt, thing is just in the head not in the body.

  • @specialforces69 hes only messing around. Stop being a prick

  • @specialforces69 hahahaha...sorry mr.fagget,you don't like jokes GTFO !!!

  • @specialforces69 but velasquez broke lesnar's face! hahah

  • cain's brench press is 2000 pounds!

  • For anyone who is dissing Frank then why don't they go fight him! They'ed be wishing they were the crash test dummy!

  • 1:58 LOL!

  • no wonder Brock tapped in there first fight. JESUS CHRIST !

  • Frank Mir is really 6'1....in every sport MMA,football, and basketball they always add inches to the athlete's heights...Same with Shane Carwin,UFC.com had him listed at 6'5....when he actually stated himself he is 6'2...don't believe me,look when he faced off with Mir....they was the same height...or just look up the video where he admits it...

  • @CFC112089 Why they do that man?

  • @ticosexy22 To be honest,I have no idea why, especially in the NFL,for example, one of my favorite football players defensive tackle Mike Patterson on the Philadephia Eagles,he came into the NFL at 5'11,NFL.com has him at 6'1.Depending on the position like linemen, they add a few inches on their heights.Look at Patterson's teammate,Nick Cole,he's listed at 6'0,but really he is 5'9-5'10.I guess it's just a tactic to make athletes seem bigger than they really are..

  • get a real man and do this test again

  • He is 6tf 19 centimetres tall.

  • he's 6ft 3 inches and he doesn't weigh 265 (don't know the excact number, but it really isn't 265)!

  • @racingmylife15 Not long ago Mir weighed 275lbs. Noob.

  • @racingmylife15 he was 265 in his last weigh in in UFC 111 and he had to cut weight. Just wached the weigh in so i dont sound like a total douche

  • @racingmylife15 Nowadays he walks around at more, but he's put on enough that he fights at 265. thats about what he weighed at the kongo fight

  • knew he wasnt 6'3

  • Benchpress 450 pounds?? I wanna see that..

  • @pr4nk5tr ya me too, i highly doubt he can get close to that

  • Some physics revision here lol. Moments = Force x Perpedicular Distance

  • haha that would of been so funny if that would of happen to brock in the 1st fight at 1:54-2:02

  • The fulcrum is the elbow (on Frank's pubic bone) not the shoulder. Weak. Good video overall but weak science explanation.

  • @michaelstephensen we know, almost everything they do is incorrect on their show

  • hes 6ft 3inches tall

  • @pass2pass17 Hes six one for sure ...

  • @pass2pass17 wiki says hes 6"1 but it may well be wrong

  • @pass2pass17 He's actually 6'1...
