  • @JHWO327 with your "um sorry", but, though pull ups give you your v-shape and work your lats, they also DO work your abs, pecks, biceps, it is an all round work out, get your fact together, this guy knows his shit, you obviously know yours from wikipedia

  • the grip u use for the wid pull ups, can go on the other side of the door, u then put ur feet under the chin up grips and u can do sit ups ( works like if somone is standing on ur feet)

  • He forgot to mention that it's different for people of different weights. This guy is like 140, but I'm 190. Also, he didn't mention how this device will slowly damage your door frame leaving black scuff marks and small indentations around the side molding and upper frame. Maybe it doesn't for little guys, but you have to think the more that you weigh the more pressure you're putting on the device and door frame. I noticed the minor damages on the first day. You have to be careful with this.

  • @studemer I was referring to the bone in relevance to the muscle around the wrist dude. Check out the definition. An individual who can do 45 or so of this particular exercise will have stronger trapezoids giving a visual of a healthier/more muscular look in the wrist. Thanks for the comment.

    Well you do sets. Maybe 10-15 of each so times that by three thats 45 pull ups and thats just for 1 grip. So times that by 3 basic grips thats 135 pull ups. I cant do 3 sets of 15 wide grip. I use a chair to help me with the last couple of sets for a wide grip or else I fail. But total pull ups 40-50 is a good steady amount and its harder if they are done correct but no wholy shit

  • Its actually building the muscle by the time you start doing the push up session? Thats the stupidest thing i've ever heard your muscles go into catabolic state towards the end of your workout depending on how long it is. They don't start rebuilding towards the end of the day and during the night. By the time i'd start doing those pushups there's no way my muscles are starting to break down there fucking pumped like nice warm up lets get this show on the road.

  • @terrero912 It's really cool. I hope you got the Xtreme version with the extra grips. Also, I highly recommend getting the ab straps if you didn't purchase them yet. They let you perform leg lifts that work your upper AND lower abs which normal crunches can't do.

  • Javier, I am 5"1 ( i am very short i am only 14 ) do you think that the iron gym can give me good results i already have the iron gym extreme but i have to jump up to my bar for pull ups and i get tired very quickly i get tired around 10 pull ups i think i should be able to do more but do you think there is a easier way for me to do it for better , longer sessions.

  • @EzMasterKH I'm not totally sure, but working out at that age can be damaging...but don't quote me on that. I recommend sticking to swimming and other such light activities. Even I still do swimming in combination with my Iron Gym, as it provides cardio and tones the muscles :)

  • 2 things, pull-ups dont work ur pectorals and push-ups dont work ur biceps. Ur pecs pull to make adduction happen and ur biceps pull to make flextion happen at ur elbow. Wen doing push-ups u dont pull downwards u control ur decent with ur triceps working against gravity. UR BICEPS DO NOTHING!!!!

  • the iron gym is an excellent tool to keep your body fit and tone, but don't be fooled. It will not make up for full workout at the gym. You can't simply use only that , and expect to be like the guy the commercial. He is professional fitness model and most likely, spends countless hours a week at the gym. I personally have an iron gym but i only use it in the morning to stay physically fit and most importantly FLEXIBLE (my job requires it, USMC 1st Lt). Good Luck with everything!! :)

  • @bsbll137 yeah you know it. i just have the iron gym to incorporate it into my home gym with actual weights and stuff.

  • @ lamiac - It sounds like your getting your information wrong. YEA, your right , you can't train the same body part within a 48 hour span or you'll run the risk of over training. However, that doesn't mean you can't strength train everyday. You just have to rotate different parts each day. For example, you do biceps and tris one day, chest and back the following day day, and shoulders and legs the 3rd day.  Therefore, your muscles have enough time to recover.

  • Thats y u look like a pussy still because u overtrain. U need to always allow at least 24 hours in between workouts for your muscles to heal that is how they grow! I think it's hilarious how people try to strength train every day of the week and wonder why they never make any gains. Well there is ur problem. 24 TO 48 HOURS REST IN BETWEEN EVERY STRENGTH TRAINING WORKOUT!! IF U DO NOT LET URSELF RECOVER U WILL ACTUALLY BECOME WEAKER! Cardio is ok for everyday

  • @lamiac2411 also cardio is not great if you do it everyday. especially if your running distance, because your body will begin to consume muscle in order to create energy. So you'll be decreasing size. Its better to do cardio once every other day. Don't get me wrong, Cardio is very important, ESPECIALLY if you want that six pac.     transform muscle into energy. food is transformed into energy

    which is why some athletes eat up to 6 small meals a day

    to keep their metabolism working and keep producing energy

    you decrease size by dehydrating and it happens a lot with long distance runs.

    but yeah if you want that six pack( or even 8 pack) you cannot forget about cardio

    unless you are naturally skinny and born with one xD

  • @waflikky2 Even if you consumer 6 meals a day( meals that are suppose to be in small proportions). your body will still be burning a larger amount of calories than the normal amount if your running distance everyday.(Running distance requires a lot of energy ) Like you said it will keep your metabolism going, which will essentially cause you to burn even more calories. Like Michael Phelps metabolism, its so high that he can consume 3000 calories a meal.
