Hi I'm interested in the holofoil card of a copy of the first silver surfer magazine, how much would you be selling that for? And how would I go about purchasing it? :)
yea my mom bought them for me at a yard sale when i was a kid, they were cheap. they also had kiss cards from the 70s but she was afraid to get those at the time because it was kiss. in the boxes were also cards of happy days,,charlie angels,,star wars,,mork n mindy? i tihnk it was, and maybe a few others
Personally, I never bothered with promo cards and ash can editions and wizard 0 1/2 issues.
I have a great disdain for the comic book gimmik era, it destroyed the hobby in the 90's.
Not too many kids or young teens can afford to even get into the hobby with the prices what they are. Hopefully the whole Disney/Marvel deal will make titles more affordable. Hopefully whatever Warner/DC is doing will promt the same.
If they can't stimulate youth interest, they'll flounder and die.
I remember spending all my lunch money on these comic cards when I was younger. How much did these boxsets cost when it was first released? I have a feeling it would have been cheaper to buy the boxset than to buy individual packs lol

Actually when I go to shows I see people from all ages buying and selling comics and cards to get other comics and cards.

I think $20-$35 up for a whole unopened box. I owned a store so that is how I got a lot of promo cards.
