@AboveTheGlitch Make a shape with the rectangle tool then put it over the youtube template your using then use the erase tool then start erasing the edges of the top.

hey can anyone make a background for me? i am extremly new to ps and i would deeply appreciate it if someone could help. all i want is a gradient background that is white at the top, and sort of baby blue(the color for the text boxes on my channel) at the bottom. then just some nice brushes (i think thats what its called on ps, like swirls of lines on each side) but not to much. and the color of those would be a light grey and light black (light enough to see against the white) THANK YOU pm me:)

@GuinnessHD just save it as PNG, the file size will probably be bigger, but youtube will still accept it .. don't use Jpeg, quality is really bad with it.

When you merged the layers and duplicated all you had too do was put the blending mode back to screen, cs5 puts it back to normal when something has been merged too a layer, I don't know why they did that because CS4 didn't but w.e :P

Question here: When I free transform a picture it always makes a new layer with the same picture and then I change it and the original one is left in its normal state. Do you know why that is?
