Looks like fun. We used to cover a 1/4 mile 'thrash and dash'. However we were warned that we were NOT to go down the track. Too many cameras there to risk sneaking a go either. Would have been shot if it appeared on youtube! Think the Mondeo you showed may have been the same spec as my last RRU though. It went like.... well lets just say I ordered a lot of extra uniform trousers! We didn't get to 'stealth' though. All Battenburg. Feel like I'm sitting in a Mr Kipling cake!

I can understand the need to drive fast for the effect but burning the tyres out just shows poor car control and mindset. Worrying that he drive a 220 blue light vehicle in that manor.

@jbsportstech He's spinning the wheels for effect, the crowd are there for the excitement, not to see a car drive up a hill. And obviously he doesn't have poor car control, you have to have special training to drive the faster pursuit vehicles (and I think you also are trained in driving the basic panda cars). It's all put on for the show.

@timsarmchair only problem here is.......the unmarked mondeo is not a police vehicle. It is a Royal Logistics Corps vehicle used for EOD and other security purposes.

These particular vehicles are based at Heathrow Airport. All vehicles that have to go onto airport ground MUST have an orange beacon or light. That is why some LAS vehicles have orange lights.
