What some of us may be remembering is the public open houses that were held at the Yo. airport - not at the Air Reserve base. The last open house we attended was back in '94 and that was at the airport. (I don't think they've had one since). Bummer - now we have to drive to Cleveland for theirs at Burke.

Amm idk were u got ur info.. But my father has been working out there for 30yrs and the last public one was not in the 80's.. He works in security so i think he would know.. Just sayin'.

haha ok lil 411 Its only been 8yrs since the last open house.. The Cargo Planes you speak of are C-130's YARS is the only base in the U.S. With an aireal spray unit!! Flying missions around the world!!

Actually the Air Base has open houses for the families of employees, but the last public open house was in the 80's. Just sayin'.
