But tomorrow, at the most luxurious cinema I know, for just 27.50 4 movies (together about 8 hours), one of which isn't officially in cinemas yet. Which (at 7 bucks a movie) is a pretty nice deal, and I have no problem paying for it. And I think some people will agree, so cinemas, lower your prices, higher your income.

I don't think it's the internet that is causing low ticket sales. It is the shit movies and Hollywood sequels that are doing it. I mean, do we really need a Transformers 3?  If film makers put their trust in the audience a little bit more, they wouldn't need all the garbage sequels.

I mean, look at Paranormal Activity. That was a great movie. Did it need a sequel? Probably not. But it got one that wasn't anywhere near as good as the first one because Hollywood wanted a quick buck. Ugh.

People talk, clearly the future of UI is speech recognition. Pointing would be a good secondary method. The way we pair keyboard and mouse, the future will be speech and hand gestures. I wouldn't rule out simple eye movement detection either, that might work better than gestures, although people like to talk with their hands so who knows?
