CPR will still be cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It's now just believed that chest compressions supply sufficient oxygen so that breaths are unnecessary and time consuming. This is also good news, as a future possible doctor I'd rather not be giving breaths to every person with CPR.
agreed with the movie thing. Usually where I live a movie costs 12 bucks, which is a 2 hour movie. No way in hell I'm paying that much
But tomorrow, at the most luxurious cinema I know, for just 27.50 4 movies (together about 8 hours), one of which isn't officially in cinemas yet. Which (at 7 bucks a movie) is a pretty nice deal, and I have no problem paying for it. And I think some people will agree, so cinemas, lower your prices, higher your income.
is that the worlds smallest tattoo on your left wrist, or the worlds largest pencil led broken off in there?
Vote up if you want to increase odds of getting an answer and replace people who do not know how to adjust bass on their computers. its only a few seconds of thumping guys.. and sounded fine on my computer, but I do not have it configured to rock out to house-jams...
The box office sales are dreadful because the PRICE of going out to the movies is dreadful! The decline can also be attributed to Netflix. My husband and I usually just wait until a movie comes to DVD and get it on Netflix.
Holy crap, Molly....I HOPE you're gonna clean up that broken glass off the ground ! You're gonna put somebody's EYE out with those flying sheets of paper !
As Stanislaw Lem, a famous Polish science fiction novelist , once said, it would be the worst nightmare for any Department of Outer Space affairs to keep diplomatic ties with all the planets known because of their innumerability, and distances between planets may force people to develop a so-called "cast diplomacy" in which diplomats are predicting what political changes could take place on other planets when our spaceships would be there.
Who the hell would go watch a prince of persia film if you can just run a better story-wise but a bit older sands of time game and actually DO what your watching other people do. To me as a gamer movies are like watching someone else play a non-strategy game...pointless.....
When it comes to micro-organisms, we have no control what-so-ever, unless we can stop every bit of space-junk from entering our atmosphere. E.T.'s( non-hostiles) should be treated as legal immigrants. Marvin the Martians( Invaders) should be treated as just that, invaders.
The UN can't solve any problems because those with power (US/European countries/etc) don't want to give it away. The veto on the security council is just plain silly
I agree with Molly. Why spend $15 for a movie ticket and $7 for a drink. Especially when I can watch the movie a few months later in the comfort of my own home. No rude people talking on cell phones or just talking to the person next to them.
@wwickeddogg also our fault. studios are too afraid to take risks with movies because of the amount of movies that lose money, so original, daring scripts are thrown out for remakes :( and "not another teen movie" movies
the UN cant solve anything because essentially its a bunch of very smart people trying to deal with the issues of very dumb and stubborn ones. they probably will fare better with some sort of ET life especially if its intelligent. that is if these beings dont want to kill us , take our resources our take us as resources, or just stop by for a good laugh on the way to their galactic G8.
The UN is a bunch of screwballs, if they are discussing aliens from outer-space. We have never seen aliens from outer-space manifest themselves anywhere. In project Blue Book the U.S. Air Force pursued over complaints of strange flying things, the conclusion about the stochastic events is that whatever they are they are they are not a threat to national security--nice way of saying they found nothing, but did not deny that something happened somewhere.
I don't think it's the internet that is causing low ticket sales. It is the shit movies and Hollywood sequels that are doing it. I mean, do we really need a Transformers 3? If film makers put their trust in the audience a little bit more, they wouldn't need all the garbage sequels.
I mean, look at Paranormal Activity. That was a great movie. Did it need a sequel? Probably not. But it got one that wasn't anywhere near as good as the first one because Hollywood wanted a quick buck. Ugh.
@Otakkun Another take on low ticket sales imo is the dramatic improvement in the average individual's home entertainment .
I for one would much rather wait for a movie to make the move to a service such as Netflix or Zune Marketplace and watch it in the comfort of my own home then I would pay to see the same movie at a theater.
Thank you so much for price of tickets/food & bevs at the movies referance. Movie theaters were founded on being cheap entertainment. When you have an internet connection for the same price as seeing 2 movies a month, well, the choice is obvious.

@Qasimbajwaa Most of the time, thoughts are far too unfocused. You'd clobber everything with random ponderings about what to eat, or the girl next door.
Or stuff like "Hmm, what if I'd try [...]", "How about doing it like this..." and "Let's do that...".
